Infested Planet, it's ok, it's one of those game where you only play one mission and stop, it can take from 10 to 20m each mission. Basically it's a rts mixtured with horde mode (because the enemies will be spawning non stop against you), you will earn money with each mission so that you can unlock stuff outside the missions, you get a different "monetary" system in game that requires you to capture enemy hives and/or some boxes.
Dunno, i feel a bit grindy since some missions are a bit too hard so you will feel tempted to buy single mission exhaustibles (ex. unlock a extra soldier from the beggining for one mission).
My currently active game list:

1) Skyrim
2) Skyrim
3) Skyrim
4) Skyrim
5) Skyrim

Oh, I should probably not forget to mention that I'm also playing Skyrim. :) Prior to this I was addicted to the original Mount & Blade, and had a week long stint with Sniper Ghost Warrior. All other gameplay in the last 4 months have pretty much been "install to check it out and gauge for future play" test runs/demoing pretty much. Going to finish off Skyrim, then probably try to finish off some other games I started and never finished before getting involved with any new ones short term though. :)
Lately Starcraft 2, but I really suck at it. Still not so long time ago matchmaking decided to give a Master against me... Also cheeses drive me crazy. Besides that I am in a month or two in games of Hexen and Dungeon Keeper. But did not play them in 2015 I think. Also I started Trine. But lately only Starcraft 2.
I just finished RealMyst, and now I have moved on to Riven. I am going to try to play Riven without hint guides etc. I never could beat Riven back in the day, and now as an adult, I will give it another go!
F.E.A.R.

I'm getting really sick and tired of the completely unavoidable/forced damage in certain areas/sequences, otherwise I'm enjoying it as a FPS with slight (SLIGHT) horror overtones. The story is dragging its feet and the atmosphere (in Interval four anyway) and horror has completely lost its edge, hopefully that will change soon. Even if its horror and atmosphere continue to fizzle I will probably finish it since the actual FPS part of the game is great.
Also started F.E.A.R.

Actually I just wanted to give it a try and put it back on the heap since I have enough "active" games already. But it really has dragged me in. I really has a very nice flow - quiet passages where you want to know what happens next, and then short but intense firefights. And after the battle I think - just have a look what's around the next corner - and suddenly another hour has passed.

I don't find the game very scary. Of course there are a few jumpy moments - but I never felt afraid in any way. System Shock 2 and some parts of Thief are a hundred times more creepy - in those games I literally lost my grip on the mouse for sweating.

Back to F.E.A.R.: I really like the art design - even if it's a little monotonous - grey cellars, grey warehouses, grey offices and currently a grey construction site (of grey offices). The level design is a good balance between "realistic looking" and compromises for the sake of playability. Usually the most playable FPS have a rather abstract design (Doom/Quake) while games with very realistic locations tend to have a bad flow when it comes to combat.
The sound design is really good and supporting the atmosphere very well. Weapon effects are really satisfying. The graphics are a little aged but this doesn't bother me much. It's a pity that decals, bloodstains and environment damage all disappear rather quickly - I would have liked to have really messed up environments after an intense battle, with bullet holes and broken stuff and blood and body parts (harhar) everywhere.
Count me in for the FEAR club.

I'm still somewhere in Extraction Point. Haven't had much play time in the last few days. I'm really enjoying it. At first the horror bits were a nice touch, but after a while it grows a little stale. Ah well, at least the combat is very satisfying, and that's always the most important part in an FPS. The bigger guns certainly have a nice weighty feel to them. THUMP, THUMP, THUMP. ;) The bullet time feature is definitely superb when shit goes flying everywhere. It also feels like an always available cheat mode... well, that is needed because without it I think the game would be fucking hard as hell. While the game is fairly linear I do like how it often circles around before you can move on. Definitely makes it feel more natural in design.

Lastly, the first time I managed to shoot some clone's head clear off with the shotgun I just went "HOLY SHIT!" Never fails to entertain. ;)
Just begun Jagged Alliance 2. right now I liberating Drassen Air port with 4 mercs(me, Hitman, Blood, Buns) and a NPC girl (Ira).
This game is tough and hard...often reload was necessary by killed the NPC.

Also playing Half-Life for the first time. Now fighting aliens with trench.

I played some Fix My Car: Garage Wars - Furious Street Mechanics yesterday, which was the Amazon app of the day, and it was quite shitty. Still was a little interesting in what goes on inside and outside a car. I was never that interested in cars, so at least it felt somewhat new.

Ghorpm: With my backlog finished (yay!) I can freely choose games to play so I decided to play those not available digitally: Submarine Titans and Best & Bumpkins. I recommend both and encourage to vote for them:

Just curious here, but what was the biggest your backlog got to?

Hard to say, because I never tried to determine it. I have 334 games on GOG, more or less the same amount from other DRM-free DD, ~150 Desura games and many retail games. But I've finished most of my boxed games back then and a lot of digital purchases was for a backup and/or supporting great games. I was buying a playing a lot of games at the same time. Quite recently my finances became not so good so I was only playing... and then I realized I've finished at least once every game from my collection (but without repeating for every platform, so for example I've finished Wizardry 6-8 back then and did not replay my GOG versions)

Never found Fear all that special to be honest. Was a decent shooter that was the reigning rig melter for a bit.

Still playing Deeper Dungeons (maybe I wrote that in a previous post) and Team Fortress 2. Excellent fun!

Still a lotta games though, still gives me hope that I'll be able to finish my backlog :)

Be careful with Deeper Dungeons. I lost so much sleep over that game.
I've been on a Tolkien kick lately, so I started playing...

LOTR: War in the North, which is a fairly basic action RPG inspired by the movies. I'm currently in the Barrow Downs and I'm conflicted on whether to continue because I'm not finding it very engaging. It's kind of cool to see locations and characters the movies couldn't get into, at least.

So then I hunted around for something else and found a Mount and Blade mod called The Third Age, which is based on the book. I needed a little while to get adjusted to the map being more sparsely detailed, but I'm really liking it now. They did a nice job with it.
