Playing Dishonored and now I'm halfway through. Wonderful game!
Metro 2033 - Wonderfull FPS, very nice atmosphere. Things in the surface are quite bad, things in the tunnels are wild but the warm feeling i get in these metro stations is priceless! And i read somewhere about "It's not frightening, no no"... Well, what can i tell, if you play it without sound maybe.. The certain thing is that i got quite scared some times but i love it! :-)

One of the best games i've played in my life! The graphics, level design, atmosphere, sound, gameplay, EVERYTHING is top-knotch! When I bought it, I played it from start to finish three times in a row and now i want more! We are talking about quality here! ;-)

When you finish it, take a look at the Ultimate Difficulty mod if you'd like some challenge. ;-)

Thank you for the advice. It's funny, the second sentence in the article: "You had a mostly (or entirely) non-lethal run, followed by a decidedly more lethal run (to see the game's bummer ending), and maybe, for good measure, a combat run where you just got into deliberate, chaotic sword fights the whole time."
It's exactly the way I'm playing now :P A non lethal approach. After that I will definetly play again. And again. And...again a few times :D

Just curious, what playstyle are you using? I played through about half (I guess?) of it using a non-lethal/stealth style and eventually got bored and put it back on my virtual shelf. I plan on picking it back up soon and restarting and using melee, which seemed fun the few times I tried it. The developers previously made Dark Messiah of Might and Magic so I'm probably supposed to be using melee anyway haha.

Edit: Ninja'd by the two minutes it took me to write this!

I've played Dishonored some long time ago and finished it. My gameplay then was pretty messy. I would sneak through the whole map, crossbow shooting almost anyone moving.

Right now I am taking a non-lethal approach. I took down all the main victims in some rather interesting way, making them disappear instead of killing them. Though I must admit, sometimes I feel an urge to just come out and kill anyone and everyone. Yet, I still restrain myself from doing that :P

That brings up a question, how much faster were you progressing through the game when crossbow-ing everybody? The few times I toyed around (you know, saving then toying around and then reloading) with melee it seemed like you could finish each level in fifteen to twenty minutes max but stealth/non-lethal would take an hour.

Yes, stealth approach indeed takes a lot more time. I toyed around a few times myself. One time, I ran into Bottle Street Gang's headquarters, attaching razor traps for everyone in the face. And crossbow shooting the rest. It all was very quick. When in stealth, it sometimes takes me a minute or two just to observe the movements of enemies and then choking them at the right moment. So clearing Bottle Street Gang's headquarters for example, took me ~30 minutes. But it was fun!

The first time i played it, it was a mix of stealth and lethal approach.. Then the second time it was stealth only.. The third time was full lethal John Rambo style! The 4th time will be entirely stealth on ultimate difficulty and i'll try to achieve "Ghost" status if I can..

In my first playthrough, i was toying in every situation (like i do with all great FPS that have quicksave) and i was really taking my time. I finished the first level in 5 hours. That's right, five hours! I must have beaten the whole game in about 35-40 hours, way too much for a 12-13 hour game... that's of course counting the quickloading i've done after trying all kinds of insane stuff!

It has to be one of the best value for money i've had for a while, considering i bought it for under 10 euros and had all the DLC (not the usual DLC stuff - they are actually expansions like they used to be in the past). And we're talking about an FPS here, not a 50 hour long cRPG!

I guess you had never played Thief, right?
Darklands. It's a fun RPG with medieval German world!
I chose the first city to Prague, Bohemia kingdom. and fighting thugs(for money) at night.
When my party members damaged, I went to outer city and camp.
Sometimes I went to church and attend mass for gaining virtues.

I own Thief but have yet to get around to playing it (I know I know, the shame!) but I enjoy stealth in some games. In Dishonored it just felt a bit too easy too be honest. By the end of the second mission I was more or less completely invisible and the only way I could've made it more challenging would've been to literally stop using Blink, stop using rooftops/ledges and just run and hide behind dumpsters and stuff.

I actually did redownload it today and rather than start over from the very beginning I think I'll continue where I was and just see how far I can get using the darts (which I didn't use previously) and only using Blink/rooftops/ledges when absolutely needed. One thing I did enjoy was how many options the game gave you, it's just a shame that using most of them will lead to a High Chaos rating and the bad ending (apparently).
I am currently playing Fallout New Vegas, very fun game (a bit buggy, though). Beautiful mood, fun gunplay, deep characterization of NPCs and companions and very intriguing plot with meaningful choices.
Aah, Space Rangers HD - was recommended to me once (or at least another from the series) but it took me a long time to find this jewel! Only negative thing is I'm a bit... spaced out. Went to bed last night after initial testing... got up some hours later and played till about 4.30 a.m. - good thing it was Saturday. Or is. Got up again at 8 a.m. and here I am still playing mid-afternoon. Where am I? :) Lovely game.
I'm on my 5th playthrough of Half Life 2. It's been 10 years since I first played it and it is still one of the best FPS of all time.

Yes it on the easy side, the AI is a little dumb (your whole body can be seen while looking behind a corner but an enemy looking directly at you while standing two meters from you can't actually see you) but I can forgive the shortcomings because I imagine myself like a super duper assassin like ninjas (well, that's actually what it is Corvo) and the enemies can't see me because i'm really good at what i do. Little imagination here or there to fill the gaps & the faults of the AI and i'm good. ;-)

Also, i suggest you try the Ultimate Difficulty mod - it makes the game more realistic as the enemies actually use their eyes the have in their head... :P

..but also there are many options in the enviroment so as to not cause chaos.. just refrain from using your weapons! (too difficult the first time because "oh, look!! so many bullets, i've got to try them on someone! oh and that sword - look how it shines...!)

Oh, and make something about those Thiefs, you don't know what you're missing! ;-)

Enjoy the Deathclaws. Piece of advice, stay away from the railroad junctions. Deathclaw hell. XD

I just finished my first play-through of Walking Dead Season 2. Ughh... I like the Telltale style, seems like an interesting way to tell a story with the player's choices having impact. But the choices are so melodramatic and limited that I just roll my eyes at a lot of the dialogue and story choices. Sometimes I get the feeling that the Telltale writers suffer from sort of emotional stunting disease or something. There's times in their games where you just shake your head, knowing that in real life no human beings would be saying or doing those things.
