Syberia is pretty much standard p&c adventure, nothing "walking simulator" about it imo (compare: Dear Esther etc.).

I'm playing:

Wasteland 2: Nearing the end, I guess, a great game and as a backer I'm completely satisfied. Might even replay it at some point.

Door Kickers: A very fun tactical game, missions are short so it's easy to play in short sessions, easily the best tactical anti-terrorist/SWAT game since SWAT4. Have all the classes unlocked but still plenty of missions to do.

Tex Murphy - Overseer: Good ol' Tex :)
Currently playing:

Life in the Woods, an awesome modpack for Minecraft:

http://phedran.com/LifeInTheWoods

I've also added one mod ontop of that to allow me to adjust the length of day and night times, TimeScaler:

http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1291771-timescaler

my setting in it's config file is:

timescale = 0.1666,0.5

Which gives about 1 actual hour of game day time and about 20mins of night time.

Overall a very stunning looking and incredibly deep game of Minecraft.

The character just walks back and forth so much, that's most of what she does. It's true that in most adventure games characters walk from place to place, but I think it feels more of an issue here because many of these screens are nothing but scenery, screens whose only purpose is to lead to other screens, and yet she needs to go back and forth through them several times. The fact that she can run (and it took me a while to discover this) means that the devs realised it was an issue.
MegaMek's Against the Bot campaign.

Sure it can get hard at times (Your forces are few in number compared to the enemy), but I think I need to retreat often.

Also, I'm getting into tabletop gaming, so I'm not playing video games as much.
A bit more Wrestling MPire Remix. I've managed to whittle a roster of about 30 wrestlers down to about 12 thanks to "Loser Leaves Town" tag team matches and I'm still demanding that match stipulation. Ah yes, one day soon "Sunshine" Justice Sidney will hold ALL the titles AND will be the referee AND the booker. Oh yes...the future of Federation Online is bright.
Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Retromania hit me again. They simply don't make them like they used to... I did not like the least bit, Mortal Kombat Komplete, which was a modern trilogy remake, and the new steam castlevanias, were horrible, plus they are steam exclusive, and devil may cry clone (especially 2).

Asking honestly, not trying to be snarky or anything, but has there been ANYTHING good from the Mortal Kombat franchise since the early 00s? From my experience the only Mortal Kombat games worth playing were the first two or three, once they went completely digital (for the character models) the franchise has really gone downhill in my opinion.

You 've got a point there... Up until and 4, they were nice...
Ar Norsurge Ode to an Unborn Star, Fallout 1, System Shock 2.

I was also playing a game called 'Project Nimbus' since the devs gave me a key but the game is pretty broke right now so I had to stop playing because it crashes to desktop due to poor programming.
Nox. First time at it, & have been killed twice in the intro.
I guess I'll have to rtfm.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, probably for the last time for the foreseeable future. I love a lot about this game but I'm tired of humanoid enemies wearing light jackets and ski masks surviving multiple shotgun blasts directly to the face from less than five yards away (no, I'm not exaggerating). I'm also tired of them being able to snipe me from a mile away regardless of how I move whereas the bullets from my weapons seem to drop directly into the dirt at about the ten yard mark (slight exaggeration but not much). Come on game, the mutants shouldn't be easier opponents than early game bandits armed with a pistol.

I played (a couple of hours of) S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat before I ever played Shadow of Chernobyl and I don't really remember it having these issues, so I might just switch to it.
After months of really losing all interest in games and trying new games only to quit in less than an hour I finally found one I can enjoy on some level: Shadowrun Dragonfall.

That said, it's taking me weeks just to play 15 hours of it.
Well, since I had to factory reset my computer (screw you bsod), I am patiently (not so much) downloading some games. While I'm doing this, I am playing Rage on PS3 which I got for the low-low price of $3. Game came out in 2011 with much hype I guess (I had taken a break from gaming then) and is made by Bethesda (yay, huge fan). I've heard it was pretty. Pretty crappy.

So far: Graphics are amaz-balls. I just keep looking around and loving it. The game has a Borderlands feel, but Skyrim graphics. So far the story is garbage, but what do you really expect from Bethesda? A good main questline? *laughs* I wasn't able to choose my sex. I understand that it isn't really necessary b/c it's FPS, but when I jump on an ATV I see myself and I lose any trace of immersion. Oh did I say ATV? Yes, they have ATVs. Very fun to drive. I'm gonna get a buggy next. Yes a dune buggy. Wheee!

The best thing about this game so far is the combat. The combat is smooth and the weapons just feel good when I use them. Enemies are very dramatic: they have good AI and are very melodramatic when they die, which I love. A guy you shot will stumble towards you and you don't know if he's dying stumbling or wounded stumbling.

So far, I would say it's a game that is very pleasing to the eye, has good AI and interesting combat, but lacks any depth of content. I think they would have done better if they just dropped you in the world and let you figure it out rather than have some dude just happen to drive by and pick you up when you pop out of the vault. Hey wait a minute, that's Fallout! Aw crap, this game is just a fallout without the RP elements.
