Ngggg. Still slogging through Wild Arms 2, despite it not being very good. This isn't something I usually do with PC games, but with console and handheld games, sometimes. The ... highpoint ... of this game continues to be its translation. Although in fairness to the translators, the writers probably have to take some of the "credit." I mean, I get that it's supposed to be a callback to the first game, where Professor Emma invents the Emma Motor, but who talks like that?

Actually, the translation probably is the highpoint of the game, which is just kind of sad. Still, nobody's making me play it. No-one to blame except myself!

Furthermore, I'm playing Black Mirror on my laptop, so it's like a perfect storm of horrible, horrible translations. And the Black Mirror script is "enhanced" by voice acting, which I'm not convinced isn't some sort of of free text-to-speach software.

Oh. I wish I knew that! I bought them all when they were released here... well, for that price, even a bit of "more of the same" cannot hurt, especially when said "same" is THAT good! ;)
I will play Clear Sky instead of opting for a second playthrough!

Yeah, don't worry about it, it's not a bad game but if you get burned out after finishing SoC then playing more of the same would ruin the experience overrall, CoP feels like a new game so that's why i would recommend it passing after SoC, but if you don't have any problems with that and want more then yeah, i would recommend it instead of a secon playthrough.

Uhm... i don't think that i've played it with a mod so perhaps that will improve your experience, i think that there was some game designs that i hated (ex. sponge bullet enemies) that were fixed with the mods.

The Metro Redux Bundle! It's AWESOME! So awesome, that i forgot to retreive my Humble Bundle Metro original gift code for Steam, and it expired! Yay!

Yeah, Two Worlds is neither as good as the second part nor does it come near to Bloodlines, but I was in the mood for playing an archer with some points in traps and magic.
But it starts already to go on my nerves with the bad balance and the stubborn horses...

And you can get personal teleporterstones, I know. I don't play the game for the first time. :)

Edit: I din't like it at first but then it gets mediocre with sneaking and all and you can throw bottles in the face or distract those to put a knife in the head so perhaps it's not too bad of a game. It should run better though but it is pretty good looking.

Yeah, once. And before you ask: I do not know why I play the game once in a while, although it isn't really good.

I can understand it. As I wrote elsewhere the game is like easy-listenening music compared to i.e. the symphonic metal of a game like The Witcher or other "great" RPGs. It's kind of relaxing. In this way I can see why someone would play it a little after a game like VtM:B. I played through it when The Witcher 2 became too "heavy" for me - with a lot of work- and family-related issues clogging my mind I just couldn't muster the concentration and dedication the latter requires.

I just hate it when life gets in the way and you just only wanted to have a relaxing moment with a game. =)

Yeah well... if you have children you kind of get used to it ;-)
