Just started Patrician 3, time to test my trading & economic skills... and those cannons onboard! :-)
This has been on my gog wishlist for ages and yet even with the sale cheapening it I still couldn't bring myself to buy it, too many similar games I suppose. How has it been?
I played only for 3 hours so far because i didn't had enough free time for gaming, so i can't make a honest review but i can say that it is a beauty regarding graphics (max res 1280 x 1024), nice UI, there are many goods to trade, many ports to choose, you can play the campaign or play in sandbox mode (there are many options for the sandbox mode), there are some tutorials to help learn the game and the manual provided, is very good. That's pretty much what i saw at first glance. :-)
Hope i'll find some free time in the following days so i can start the campaign and see how it goes. ;-)

Ragnarblackmane: This has been on my gog wishlist for ages and yet even with the sale cheapening it I still couldn't bring myself to buy it, too many similar games I suppose. How has it been? Crewdroog: I'm playing Dragon's Age: Origins. However, I am playing on the PS3 b/c I got it dirt cheap in a bin. I just saw how the game plays on PC and wish I had gotten that version. Not liking the combat system on the console. I am enjoying the story though. Although, I am about to tie up and gag Morrigan.
Ragnarblackmane: Started up Inquisitor which intrigues me due to the story but so far the tedium of the beginning has prevented me from investing heavily. and now I have particle clicker playing in the background at all times, so thanks to whoever posted that gem. lol

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy Tactics. This game kicked my ass so hard back in 1998 when I bought it because I had no clue how to play it. It's a bit slow paced but I'm really enjoying it at the moment.

sauvignon1: Whose route are you doing? It's a bit of a running joke that everybody ends up with Emi their first time through.
I'm doing the Lilly's route, It's hard to tell how or when did you chose one girl from another, well sometimes the choices are easy to do like go to x place to be with x girl but other times it's very ambiguous they way you do it, Emi seems a cool girl but she is my last option between all the girls (and maybe Shizune ), I was between Lilly, hanako and Rin and to be honest the option to be with Rin never showed up, when the game offered me the option to be with her I picked it so..very weird. Again what an amazing story and yet so depressing (for me at least)

After a lapse of time so that I could play some old JRPGs, I'm back to playing Eye of the Beholder. I know that to some people, it's one of the Great RPGS, but I'm just finding it kind of dreary. Go down a floor, monotonously and carefully map everything on graph paper while occasionally stopping to do the combat circle dance (wait for the enemy to step in front of you. Side step and turn around. The enemy will step in front of you; before he can turn around and hit you, hit him first and side step again. Repeat until enemy is dead.). Go down another floor. An RPG doesn't have to be heavily story-based for me to like it, but if you compare this game to something like Might and Magic, which is also big on the mapping, I'd call it quite monotonous.
I probably should just give up on it, but it's become this sort of bugbear, sitting in my backlog and taunting me. If I were to start another game now, I'd just keep thinking "Ugh, I really should go ahead and finish Eye of the Beholder."

Oh the PC, it has mostly been Drunken Robot Pornography, courtesy of GOG user Bigs.
I'm stuck on a level right now but it's okay!
