Who do you Voodoo, bitch? ;) Played the first Dead Island in singleplayer mode as well. I really enjoyed the first area, had a tough time in the second area (until I found out that you just have to burn those armored beasts) and got really annoyed later, because of my weapons breaking too fast (and the game becoming REALLY repetitive).

It's a good game, but a bit too long if you want to play it as a singleplayer game. Can't say a lot about other characters, but as Sam B it was: kick, hit on arm, hit on arm, kick, hit on other arm, hit on other arm, kick, hit, hit, kick, hit, hit,... If I felt like doing something funky, I looked for a bat with a sawing blade, enabling me to cut of arms, instead of breaking them. Kick, hit, hit, kick, hit, hit,... all the time. In multiplayer it would've been okay for another few hours (probably just enough to finish the game), but in singleplayer...

It was well worth the money (got it for €10, I think), because it was real fun in the first hours. It's just not a game that I think I'll ever play again.

A friend and me are playing this right now, with an approach to find all the secrets on our own separately (and without looking info up on the net), just as one did back when. We've always been huge fans of the Arcade GnG, this is a wonderful nostalgia hit for us.

I haven't played any of this guy's other titles, but they too look very promising.

Chapter 1 down in The Witcher. I've been through these early sections enough that it has become boring, so its been slow going so far.

Can't wait to get to Chapter 3 where I'll see some new stuff.

Woohoo! Finished Chapter 2 of The Witcher without any computer parts failing, retarded uninstallers deleting all my games, corrupted savefiles, or any other sort of shenanigans that kept me from getting this far before.

Even considering I'd played through most of Chapter 2 several times before, I have to say that was quite tedious. The part in the swamps lasted considerably longer than I'd expected.

Are you playing with a controller? I finished this a while ago and really loved the mood - but till the end I struggled with the fighting controls.

Enjoying some more casual games in random spare moments... Bejeweled 3, Luxor, and a few hidden object games (perfect for when I've only got 5 minutes).

Picked up with XCOM remake anew again. It's been too long since I last touched it so I figured it was best to scrap my first run. Also bought Enemy Within from Amazon for ten quid to play at a later date. For now I just want the base game experience. Still very much enjoying it. I never got around to playing the originals so I don't have any misgivings about any changes about the new one; it's very good fun as far as I'm concerned. Already lost someone very early on due to a silly mistake. Fight and learn. ;)

Still casually playing Hearthstone on a more or less daily basis. That's good fun, too, and I think I may finally end up spending some money on it once Blizzard will release that singleplayer campaign.

Only tested SimCity4 real quick and it doesn't seem to have any real performance problems. After turning down shadows, which are barely noticeable in the first place, any of the chugginess I witnessed in the big city tutorial map went away. The other graphical options seems to have little to no impact one way or the other. *shrug*

I started playing System Shock 2 earlier, but something pulled me to replaying the first System Shock again (I've played it through a long time ago). Playing it with the mouselook mod, it's great. I recall finding the controls iffy back then, but now they are great, pretty good even in the cyberspace sections (with a mouse and a keyboard).

Now I am at level 6, I don't quite remember in which order I should do levels or missions. The laser is destroyed, still there are those antennas, the grove etc. I have no idea if the tasks were supposed to be done in a specific order, maybe it becomes clearer..

Great stuff still, no wonder it is a classic. The only thing I dislike is going back and forth to find energy and health stations, usually all the way to the first level. I'm hoarding ammo, batteries and medikits/first aid kits as I don't recall if there was some section later on where you dearly need them.

I just started to play DROD and I think I'll have to come back to it when I'm sober. I'm stuck on the first level trying to kill 4 rows of roaches. This is not a request for hints.

Titan Quest: Immortal Throne and Halo: Spartan Assault. Both have simple controls and stories that can be ignored, so they're easy to get back to. I play for a few hours during weekends then leave them for the next weekend.

Right now I'm playing "Half Life" on my computer and "Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars" on my 3DS. I'm almost done with GR - will probably play Starfox after that. )

Been playing Anachronox lately. There's never a dull moment in that game.

Also about to pop in Parasite Eve, which I've procrastinated playing for way too long.
