well i have personally been enjoying dynasty warriors 7 empires, warriors orochi 3 and samurai warriors for the 3ds. rather fun hack and slash games. nothing beats killing lots and lots of enemies in so many bloody ways.

Coelocanth: I fired up Dragon Age:Origins again and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

I'm playing Clive Barker's Undying (great atmospheric horror and dark themed FPS).
Defender's Quest, a game won here in a giveaway. So bloody addictive...

Miaghstir: ... playing? ... games?
Pretty much this. I bought a bunch of games during the winter sale but I'm not going to play them until I get a better gaming rig, and I don't have an HDTV for the PS3 I recently acquired, but once I go pick up the one I was looking at I will probably start playing Skyrim, which my brother gifted me for Christmas.

The last proper video game I played was Pokemon White, months ago, and I haven't even finished it since I started it some time early this year. I did play FF14 for a while since I have a lot of friends that play it, and I hope to get back into it, but I haven't had much motivation.

Games just don't really grab me the way that they used to. Part of it is that gaming in general is stuck in some kind of loop where the same mechanics are rehashed because people are ruled by nostalgia, and companies know that nostalgia sells, whereas I personally hate nostalgia. Part of it is that I don't have the access to games that I used to; I haven't had a current-gen console in forever and I've never had a good gaming computer, so most of the new stuff passes me by. The things that don't are what I get through gaming channels, so I often get all the parts of a game that I'm interested in (story, atmosphere, visuals) without the huge investment and, often, frustration, of actually playing a game.

What I REALLY want is an excellent Gundam Wing game.
lately I've been playing hotline Miami surprisingly fun and it hooks you like that first hit of PCP from a Venezuelan guy behind a best buy....erm disregard that
Just got Super Mario 3D World for Christmas from my girlfriend. Definitely a contender for GOTY. Awesome stuff.
Dark f***ing Souls (Prepare to Die Edition).
It's unoptimized as hell, the controls are not suited for keyboard&mouse, the enemies do not hesitate to throw you off the roof or stab you in the back, or poison you, or... or... Sheesh, it's almost like the first time I played Blade of Darkness. Lovin' it. :-D

I'd probably pull all my hair out trying to get through that with the keyboard/mouse controls.

Just like I am trying to advance in Volgarr the Viking, but i'm having a lot of fun with it. It's so punishing but I won't stop playing it.
Chaos Engine and Super Mario Bros. 3
Just started Rogue Legacy a few days ago, completely enthralled by it.
From the top of my head:

RCT
Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord
Fallout
Silent Storm
Planescape: Torment
Pharaoh
Black & White
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father
Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy
VtM Bloodlines
Thief 2
Age of Mythology
Dracula - The Last Sanctuary (the first to be finished)
Dungeon Keeper
Desperados
Half Life
UFO Enemy Unknown
Theme Hospital
Constructor
Patrician 3
Jagged Alliance 2
FTL
Urban Chaos
Command & Conquer
MoHAA

I'm better at starting a new game than finishing an old one, I'm afraid... :( And the backlog is growing as we speak!
