vulchor: Sly Cooper 4, nice. I loved the demo, never got around to playing the full game though. LA Noire was beautiful, but the game play was definitely repetitive which kept me from completing it. But I'm glad it was made, it represented a brilliant proof-of-concept.
Sly is really fun, definitely the kind of game no one makes anymore. I forgot how much PS2 gaming I did for a while, and how different it was from today's multiplatform stuff. It felt like going back in time a bit, and in a good way.

LA Noire looks amazing, even on PS3. I find the dialog system needlessly hard to do well at however, and every case feels like the same thing. As you say though, it's a great proof of concept.
I'm still in the middle of Beneath a Steel Sky and Bards Tale (2004)...
I want to play System Shock 2, Jade Empire, and Rise of the Triad...
Started playing Still Life and played a bit of Waxworks to try it out.
Since I had recently purchased it, and because I wanted something that I could play in short sessions, I installed and played some FTL. It's fun, and I can see how it could get addicting. I'm afraid I have some learning to do; I only made it to the third sector. It was mostly my fault, since I went to a hostile sector when I knew my combat abilities were weak. Of course, I didn't expect that I would be destroyed from the inside. Some Mantis alien-things teleported onto my ship and started destroying everything. I tried to kill them by letting the oxygen out of the ship, but it proved difficult to do without killing my own guys. Plus, one of the first things they attacked was the door sub-system. Eventually they destroyed everything; all they had to do then was kill my guys (because apparently they are incapable of fighting--or if they are capable, they really suck at it).

Still, it was a fun experience. I'm looking forward to playing it some more.
I'm a few hous in to Titan Quest. Think Diablo 2/Torchlight and you're on the right track..
Playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Enjoying it so far - just a few hours in - somewhat past the demo content. Really making an effort to get use to the PS3 Controller - I am such a Keyboard and Mouse Gamer ;-)
Started original Mass Effect on the 360. Holds up surprisingly well compared to the PC version, maybe because you can install it now? Only real issue is some low framerate during battles, but the combat pause makes that less of an issue.

Game is so good story and presentation wise. Damn near perfect for me, honestly.

StingingVelvet: Started original Mass Effect on the 360....
I played and finished Xbox version a month ago for first time. It does look worse than PC but combat, which is my biggest problem with console shooters, is okay and it's still a charming game. I'd like to try other classes soon.

As for myself, I am still playing GTAV. Man, either the game is really long or my time is sparser. Probably both :). It isn't the best game I've ever played but I'm having fun. It feels way easier than previous GTAs. I'm unsure if it's the developer's intention regardless of platform.
Expeditions: Conquistador, Never played a game like this, but it looked really interesting, (any tips would be welcome btw).
Right now I'm playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut and loving every minute of it, I never played the original release.
Wasteland 1...what else!?
Silent Hill Homecoming..

While I do like the game despite bad reviews, it is nowhere near action filled as they say and still has the Silent Hill feeling to it, I am very sad to just can't play it so much, because most of the tension comes from.. CRASHES TO DESKTOP!

I had about 1 per hour and loading takes long, just lost a very good part without using medicine, fought 30 minutes carefully about half a dozen of foes to just have to restart from my last save because the game crashed while moving to the next scenes.. Very sad, because I really like the game so far. :(

Now I am tempted to watch about .ini editing and granting myself infinite health until I reach where it crashed, because I just don't support injustice. Not. One. Bit.

Now I'm playing Sword of the Stars: The Pit gold edition.. I keep dying from starvation, really getting mad at RNG.
Pushed myself to finish Spec Ops: The Line last night. All I can give it is a big... MEH. I really don't see why people praise the story so much. The mediocre gameplay didn't help either. Oh well.

Not sure what I want to play right now. Put BWK on hold for the moment.
Got into Arkham City in earnest finally. Am I weird for thinking it's a lot worse than Arkham Asylum? Very scattered and unfocused, not nearly as well designed. Obviously that can be attributed to going more open world, and it sounds like fans are demanding the next one be even MORE open world, so that's a shame. I loved how the original was like a Metroid game.
