vulchor: Sly Cooper 4, nice. I loved the demo, never got around to playing the full game though. LA Noire was beautiful, but the game play was definitely repetitive which kept me from completing it. But I'm glad it was made, it represented a brilliant proof-of-concept.
Sly is really fun, definitely the kind of game no one makes anymore. I forgot how much PS2 gaming I did for a while, and how different it was from today's multiplatform stuff. It felt like going back in time a bit, and in a good way. LA Noire looks amazing, even on PS3. I find the dialog system needlessly hard to do well at however, and every case feels like the same thing. As you say though, it's a great proof of concept.
