tinyE: KOTOR 2.

MysterD: It's too bad the last 1/3rd of KOTOR2 felt so rushed (out-the-box, unmodded).

I don't think I'll have that problem. Some one hooked me up with the huge MOD, the name escapes me, that polishes the whole thing up and even adds an entire new planet.

The Restoration Mod, right?
I played KOTOR 2 way before the Restoration Mod came out.

Yeah that's it. I'm still at the mining station and I actually just restarted because I realized I should have started putting a couple points into security from the beginning. Point being, I'm not sure if the mod will make much difference but it sure has a funny title screen taken from one of the original Star Wars movie posters.

Is it me or do the vibro blades in that game look 10 times better than KOTOR 1? Everything else is more or less the same but the blades look fantastic!

MysterD: I'd also say the story-telling is much darker in SW:KOTOR 2 (as opposed to KOTOR1).
Must have to do w/ Chris Avellone and Obsidian being involved.

MysterD: Ummm....does it suck like many say it does? :(
Have a look on the steam forums. It *is* a $15 game. People have had problems trying to get it to run, and i initially did (minor hiccup - no brown screen issues like others have had). Its patched to 1.03s and my experience is pretty much in line with the few positive impressions on the forums. Steep learning curve. No hand holding .Its not a Diablo clone or the like.Much slower paced. It has potential.IMHO much better than Mars Logs (i expected too much and disappointed). I was a KS backer for LOD so my opinion might be biased :).
just finished Deadpool and The Last of Us. I'm waiting for Watch_Dogs mostly apart from AC4 and Arkham Origins this year, and waiting all time for TW3!
I was messing around with...stuff, and fucked up my PC, so now I haven't got any games to play; downloading Nox and Planescape Torment (GOG versions), so looking forward to that.
Eh...decided to start up Dungeon Hearts after getting it months ago (as a gift). I beat the final boss on Normal difficulty after 3 tries, it's more of a arcade style game...but it has an ending (so I guess this counts as a finished game, so that counts as one more title in the Games Finished in 2013 Thread). It's a decent puzzle game for the most part, but god damn the XP gain is painfully low. Seriously, you beat the game on hard and you get 25-30 EXP, and upgrades to characters cost 20-200 EXP (and it takes about 35-60 minutes to get to the final boss and beat it).

Guess I'll go ahead and get back to RE:Revelaitons.

Finished Pid last week. It was nice even with the slightly frustrating platform sections in certain parts. Loved the art style and music.

I sort of started The Ball, but I got distracted half-way through with new shinies...

So I'm playing Bioshock Infinite right now. Only two hours in, so I have plenty of more to see - especially as I took my time to wander around in the beginning section - but what I've seen thus far has been splendid already. As far as big spectacle showpieces go, this one certainly seems to be worth the praise. Boasts great music, too. ;)
picked up Don't Starve and a few other games already during the steam summer sale. It's pretty fun so far, don't know how long it will keep my attention though
The Witcher. Just picked up LA Noire on a Steam flash sale, so will be starting that later tonight.
GTA IV
GTA San Andreas
Top Spin 4
Need For Speed Most Wanted
NWN 2 complete
Red Dead Redemption
Deus Ex Human Revolution
You Are Empty
Total Overdose

Blade- psx
Half-way through Half-Life: Source, almost done with Serious Sam: The First Encounter, dipped my toes into Final Fantasy VII after fiddling with the god-awful Squeenix login (I dunno if I can stand playing this game w/o a controller), and finished the first episode of The Walking Dead.
Playing Sacred 2 Gold - damn, that's one fine looking hack n' slasher!
I am playing a few:

Dragon's Dogma (just FINALLY got around to getting the game, and it is growing on me)
Kamen Rider: Battride War (just finished it and it is really really good at a first first story based game, rather than Climax Heroes Fighter)
Skyrim (giving the game another go with the Berserk mod, and it is pretty awesome with it)
Sword of the Stars: The Pit - Mind Games (I am happy to see an expansion that provides this much content for the price)
Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded (Fantastic retelling of a great adventure game)
UnEpic (this game has really brought me back to the days of when I played a lot of Metroidvania games)
Rogue Legacy (haven't had much play through yet, but I am liking the game a lot so far)

I haven't tried Deadpool yet, but it looks interesting. If anyone has given it a go please do let me know if it is the same spirit as the comics. Please and thank you. :)
