Psychonauts. I played some of it a while back on a really slow computer and I think waiting at the loading screen ruined my image of the game. Now that I have a speed demon, the game is wonderful. Except for the boss battles, that is.

Up until five minutes ago, I was playing Pool of Darkness. But I'm done. I quit. I played the series through from Pool of Radiance to this, and now, on the final battle of the final game, I am giving up. This fucking game. Very few people have anything to say about it online, and basically all of them seem to agree that the correct way to get through the last fight is to cheat like a motherfucker, so at least I have company in thinking that the thing is horribly unfair, but what a pathetic way to end my time with this series. I'm kind of depressed, honestly.

edit: I "beat" PoD, in the sense that I cheated to be able to use mu high-level equipment where I wasn't supposed to, then used a game editor to give me god-like stats. I don't feel guilty because fuck that game.

Had to put aside Fallout 2 due to tech issues, so now I'm playing Crusader Kings 2 with The Old Gods DLC


EDIT: Also just bought gunpoint, really fun so far.

No games at the moment, catching up on the Star Citizen video series Wingman's Hangar in preparation for buying some ships and modifiers.

Is it really so that the enemies (dogs and flying monsters) keep respawning when you move around, so there is not really any reason to try to shoot them, unless you definitely can't run away from them?

Damn, I hate when games have infinitely respawning monsters but not respawning ammo. It takes all the fun out of exploration.

Anyway, just entered the school.

AFAIR, enemies out on the street do respawn. They don't in "closed" areas like the school. Your best bet in this game (and most other games in the franchise) is to try and run past enemies if you have enough room to do so, in order to conserve ammo and healing items.

Metal Gear Solid on Play Station 1 :))

I have this weak spot concerning the best RPG legacy. However I've heard about these new BG releases, even this 3D. I've started again with Icewind Dale 2. I give a shot in Trine, because skill games aren't my strong side, but I pretty like it.

However, at work I play some simple browser games, when of course there isn't much to do. Lately I discover www.margonem.com and I watching how it will develop and what kind of people it will gather.

Blasted through Serious Sam: The Second Encounter last week.
Currently playing Shadow Warrior and Redneck Rampage, the latter has gradually been agitating me with its flaws, especially today when I kept getting crushed to death when opening doors. Shadow Warrior has been incredible though, I'm on Wanton Destruction right now.
Then earlier tonight I re-installed Duke Nukem 3D because you can't ever go wrong with the Duke.

Metro Last Light, Resident Evil Reelations and Wizardy 8

Actually started picking up Pandora's Tower, enjoying so far. Not really hard in the first three areas...hopefully it'll get harder as I get further in. I think I'll get back to System Shock 2, don't really know what I'll do after that. Perhaps I'll actually get back to actually finishing Xenoblade Chronicles.

If you own Oblivion as well, there is the Morrowblivion project. That's what I used to play through the game. I owned Morrowind when the game first came out, but my roommate played it a lot more than I did because I didn't have the time to devote to a deep RPG. Then a Morrowind playthough just took a backseat to other games for years. I highly recommend the Morrowblivion experience if you haven't tried it yet. Much better than the Graphics Extender for Vanilla.

Finished Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. Man that was fun!

Focusing on Reckoning now... it's basically an offline MMO, doubt I will finish it as it's too boring, but it's pretty and kinda fun for now.
