The newest update is the 1.01jpfix. What does that mean? What does the "JP" stand for?

I ask because so far I have downloaded this game 3 times since I purchased it not much more than a month ago and each time it fails to validate or install the game.

I'm hoping whatever this is it might cure that problem. My retail version installs and plays fine. Yet I prefer the easier installation of the GOG version. That is, if it worked.

What is "JP"?

Sorry. I'm talking about the first game. The ONLY game that got the jpfix. I didn't realize Catalyst was on GOG at the time of writing.


EDIT : Wait a sec, I guess I'm not sorry for not stating which game since Catalyst IS NOT on GOG. smh

No, I did not realize that. I clicked on Mirror's Edge Community Forum so I thought I was on the Mirror's Edge forum since every other post on the forum concerns Mirror's Edge. My bad, I guess.

Next time I have a question about Mirror's Edge I'll go to the Desperados or Wolfentein forum.

It turns out the 'Forum discussion' link on https://www.gog.com/game/mirrors_edge does indeed point here. :-/ One of the various gamecards that don't have that link set up correctly.

A quick visit to support and Judas will be unleashed from the dungeon to fix it.
