The thing u guys keep forgetting is, forum opinions everywhere only count for maybe 0.0001% maybe customers for any companies. Big voices yes. But still minor in numbers compared to a customer base.
What you and i might think might not matter (much) whether its good or bad. Having said though -- the experience of the paying customers outside the forums DO matter there is enough of them and especially with such a big title in Cyberpunk..im still stunned after all that time they had not tested tested the crap out of the game well before release.

And(in the case of devotion) the number of those upset or at least somewhat bothered by the delisting is likely higher than those "many gamers" who were upset/"upset" on chinese social media over GOG potentially selling the game.....and the combined markets outside china(if china ever blocked GOG officially) is bigger than the chinese market(who could likely still find ways to buy on GOG, even if china blocked GOG).

Wanted to buy Dark Souls 2 but Dark Souls Remastered is still expensive so I'm pending this one.

Oh no wrong store!

I wanted to play the Dark Souls series....then I remembered how much I hit my head against the wall(figuratively speaking) with Demon's Souls, and decided against it.

(the lore and such is nice, though)

What you keep forgetting is that people really are not buying these games and they have expectations for these sales and if they are not being met than they will realize their real customers are pissed. There are real sales attached to a lot of these posts and these things translate far beyond a post in a forum. This is more of just a succinct location where they can read a slice of what is transpiring in real life. This is a microcosm or a sampling of their customer base. And it is actually higher than the percentage you state. GOG was actually not that profitable before. They have had recent layoffs because of bad performance. They actually can't handle a significant drop in sales. What we think matters as it is attached to our wallets, which is what they want access to.

McMicroDonalds: Know anyone else who was kicked for stupid reasons? I'd post a thread about it but I'm sure I'd just get banned if I did.

GamezRanker: Fronzel, for starters(dunno the exact reason though).....also Morolf(he criticized some of the char creation stuff in 2077 in a slightly un-pc manner).
With me I was some far more miled https://imgur.com/a/JZSpbpe

I have a feeling that the ongoing christmas sale might be a distraction. I also think it's not working because they keep extending it.

Probably gave ya some reason like "too many devotion threads" or "political".

Thing is, game related politics is allowed under the tos/coc, and they "oddly" didn't close the multiple threads opened for other issues in the past(like the GOG dler threads, of which there were several at once, back when that issue arose).

Still think it's somewhat silly that people really expect that small companies will stand up to a rising superpower... anyhow, not boycotting anything but kinda hope that my refunds go through before the sale ends so I might get a few games still.

Who the hell is going around low ratting all these comments. The official reason given was "unwelcome constructive criticism"

That's a very deafest thing to say. Actually I do expect more from GOG, especially from 5 years ago. I remember when GOG used to compensate people for region pricing, now they suspend people for constructive criticism.

I did not buy Witcher 3, as I bought it on relase 5 years ago
I did not buy Fallout: NV, as I already had it on Steam
I did not buy Screamer 2, I am just not a fan of racing games
I did not buy Basball Stars 2, I am also not a fan of sports games, and basball is boring anyway
I did not buy CyberPunk 2077 - yet. Waiting a bit until the bugs get sorted out, and I have the time to play it properly
I did not buy Blacksad, for some reason, I have gone off P&C games in the last 10 years, and stopped playing them completely

I didn't buy any of the games that GOG isn't selling. I also didn't buy a membership card to this boycotting cult.
I didn't buy TombRaider 2013, or Rise of The Tomb Raider or Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Other than the new Wolfenstien release and Heretic I didn't buy anything, because they've been no new releases I'm after and everything on GoG I want I've already bought.

Why are you in this thread then? Also a lot of people are unhappy with CDPR/GOG at the moment. Which begs the question who is on a cult hey?

I have specific opinions/views that aren't very "general" or time specific. I also don't care who shares them or not. Yeah, that really sounds like I'm describing my cult here.
I'm in this thread because I dislike the OP's attempt to make people jump on the bandwagon.
