Nothing, celebrating the Heretic and Hexen release was already a little luxury for me and I have plenty of games to entertain me - even if I could use something from my wishlist it's not a necessity. I understand people who are boycotting but my purchase power is so little anyway that I don't really have to think about it - though it could be said that I haven't done it having bought a bundle but that was really a special release for me.

anzial: Didn't buy anything either, GOG is too expensive compared to competition.

Mwa, the only reason i stopped purchasing through gog was this forum fellow gerart something something, with him out of the equation all roads where open to purchase Cyberpunk the way it should. So i bought cyberpunk just after the release of the 1.05 patch and only found some collision thingies such as a henchmen walking through a cabinet pushing all items away, and the bug i have in the picture ...... Still i decided on, not refunding but postponing this playthrough right until cdpr stops with bringing out hotfixes for the game.

The whole thing about china released games and other politics are to me just a breeze passing by, i am nothing but a customer navigating the moral sea's to acquire his favorite pastime ........

that said,

Games i did not buy for what ever reason possible

The Witcher 3 GOTYE ( yet another year passes without me even getting near a wallet draw, though i did gave it more thought then last )

Horizon Zero Dawn ( i'm actually bound to buy this game at one point, Dutch influences into the game and all but not this year GoG, maybe if you threw in some more extra's such as 2 older games for free i might have taken the bait )

Baldurs Gate III ( Though in all honesty i'm not sure if this game would be bought through GoG but ... in the end i did not buy into this. Previous experiences with baldurs gate and some interesting topic discussions gave rise to the idea that this is a mainly online/multiplayer game and that is a distressful thought for someone who only wants to enjoy the best singleplayer has to offer... still because this is a project conceived in a country which you can see as the best neiighbours a dutchmen can wish for the purchase of this game is almost a certainty, but not at this point )

Divinity Original Sin II ( See Baldurs Gate III )

Pillars of Eternity 2 ( it just doesn't feel right to buy into more games of this type, and maybe 60% discount is to little to forgive chinese intervention << see i'm using politics here as a fraud )

Frostpunk GOTYE ( sold as the best but you know.... that whole Geralt thing made me a bit .. you know affraid off certain branches inside the gaming world )

Star Renegades ( oke , the only reason i did not buy into this one was because of their previous game felt so Canadian if you know what i mean )

The Outer Worlds ( pah )

When will you? All of you people defending this decision on gog's part are in open conflict with reality itself.
I was thinking of New Colossus but I'm just so disappointed with not only the way GOG has acted but also the way they have treated me personally that I'm not in the mood to play anything.

nice someone here got triggered
1. Indivisible

2. Streets of Rage 4

3. Outer Worlds

4. Divinity: Originsal Sin 2

5. Baldur's Gate 3

Those are few at the top of my head. Honestly, the CP2070 and Devotion fiascos didn't make a difference. There is already way more games that I want than money I am willing to spend in a short amount of time.

morolf: Agreed, I was recently suspended for a week for a single casual sentence, without prior warning. Don't agree at all with the kind of "moderation" Gog uses here, and as a consequence I won't buy anything here again unless I really, really want it.
Happened to you too? Seems to be a trend
I have no idea what I wanted to buy here. I deleted my wishlist. Diablo, I guess.

Some believe in DRM free, but "silly" things like eating and such must come first.

Know anyone else who was kicked for stupid reasons? I'd post a thread about it but I'm sure I'd just get banned if I did.

Fronzel, for starters(dunno the exact reason though).....also Morolf(he criticized some of the char creation stuff in 2077 in a slightly un-pc manner).

I requested a refund for everything I bought in the last 30 days, which is significant, and I am spending $0 on video games for the foreseeable future. The Cyberpunk release and everything with CDPR recently just convinced me I need to stop giving all of these companies money. I mostly bought games here, but now I don't feel like I want to support GOG. I have a massive backlog an I am just going to focus on that. Maybe I just needed a reason because I have been feeling like I need to stop buying and just play what I have for a while now. I got caught up in the new game release hype and I was always looking forward to the next release that interested me. Cyberpunk basically killed all of that now. I actually really do like the game, but it is so much less than was hyped up. I just lost all my interest in any upcoming releases and I just don't really feel like I needed a wishlist anymore. I have so many games and I am just going to focus on those and forget the mess that is going on in the industry right now.

This wasn't the position I wanted to take, but I find myself now very apathetic and disappointed, and there is really no reason for that because I have so many games that I could just have fun playing. I am just trying to refocus on the positive at this point.
