I'm aware not everyone celebrates Halloween, but just try to play along, ok?

Do you have favorite spooky, scary, or strange games that you enjoy playing this time of year?

For me, my favorite game to play around Halloween is...

Castlevania Lords of Shadow

A dark, creepy medieval tragic fantasy that IMO hits all the right notes (I am certainly no Castlevania purist). Other than a fixed camera, most of the systems still feel current and solid... and the story really hooked me, getting me to play all of the games in the Lords of Shadow series (as well as picking up many earlier 3D games as well. yes, no purist here).

I wish I could say that Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 was a great game too, but while I enjoyed parts of it a lot -- and have come to hold great respect for Mercury Steam -- CLoS2 just doesn't have a game as well-told or as mechanically-cohesive as the first of the series.

I'll have to think on others but Vampyr would certainly make my list.
Resident Evil 4, almost a perfect game in my opinion, it's hard to grow tired of the combat mechanics. The splattery headshot effect is satisfying each and every time. Love the autumn atmosphere as well, you can almost smell the yellow leaves and inhale the cold air.
Grim Fandango takes place during the Día de los Muertos (November 2nd), which is close enough to Halloween (and with awesome Mexican folklore as an extra).
I don't feel like replaying already finished games so it should be something from my backlog.

Ween: The Prophecy (not available in digital stores): I like eerie yet cozily like games, the atmosphere is perfectly fit for Halloween in my opinion.
Myst (original or masterpiece edition) for the same reasons as above, also because I completed RealMyst once but never the base game and I get stuck on boat world somehow.
Zork I: The Great Underground Empire. Stuck in maze, again. The game is wonderfully written, too bad I can't find a suitable OST for it.
Quake (on sourceport engine), any good map/episode/mod for it, close to Arcane Dimensions. I just love Quake creepy atmosphere.

I love new slots online no download where I can win money while playing. Plus they give bonuses for new layers, that's convy if you want to improve your skills. Want to win some money in the near future.

Costume Quest, of course.

I wish Costume Quest 2 would be available here, too.

Halloween-themed games? Since I'm not a huge fan of the horror genre, here's my Top 3:

1. Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness
2. Blood
3. Diablo II

There were also a number of demos I tried way back in the day, but I never played the full versions:

Alone in the Dark 1
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
Nightmare Creatures
Phantasmagoria
I would've bought Phantasmagoria 1 and 2 if they had a good discount.
I wanted to see Lone Survivor in the list.
There's also a lack of RPGs on this sale.

I myself play scary games at any time and not just during Halloween, but I like some of the ones mentioned: Blood(and even Blood 2, though it is more comical), Resident Evil 2/1/3/4(Only finished 2 fully with both characters, though not both ways, and also RE4), Grim Fandango, etc,

I myself add The 7th Guest/The 11th Hour to the list. I found the atmospheres to be very spooky and appropriate to the holiday.
I've always wanted some type of Halloween tradition. Playing a set of horror games every October seems fun.

None really, but if I were to choose one I think Nightmare 3D would be my choice.
Silent Hill.
Pacman! It has ghosts! Though the Pacman I am playing now is not a game but a packet manager.

The first-person Flash variation is actually kinda creepy, if overall underdone as an idea/concept (for good reason I suppose, as Bandai Namco would never bother to breathe that much life into one of the original quarter sucker franchises).

I don't habitually play it every year, but Terraria is always good for a laugh collecting costumes and other seasonal drops during the yearly event. (The Christmas-themed event isn't as interesting -- probably because it doesn't fit the game as well.)
