What are your favorite dungeon crawlers?

Any game is eligible as long as it has some amount of dungeon crawling.
One that I don't think many have played would be Vampyre: The Talisman of Invocation. I played that game for hours and hours when I first downloaded it from a BBS. Even if your character dies the game isn't completely over, as you have the option to be sent back to the world alive if you've proven yourself worthy to the gods. You can see some gameplay here.

Moraf's World is another I spent quite a bit time in. The view is a little strange at first since it shows all four directions at the same time, but you get used to it.

I do like it a LOT but it's not quite my fav but it's up there so perhaps it should be there but i have to think through it.

Might and Magic 9 and 10 are awful, the earlier are good but i do prefer 6-8.
Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos (1993) - Best of the best, especially the 1994 CD re-release.

Wizardry 8 (2001) - I don't know why, but I fell in love with this one.
I remember a game which i played during a summer vacation when the son from the aunts daughter of my mothers best friend stayed with his grandmother i belief somewhere '94 '96 and took his console with him ( i belief sega, would have remembered it to be nintendo ) with one game a dungeon crawler which seemed to be very good back in the day, 4 party style, pretty basic.. i would like to try that one again some day, most current dungeon crawlers seem to be overly possesed with all kinds of weird stuff, i'm just a simple guy wishing to fight stuff etc etc etc

Operencia

available on GoG though i bought it on Epic, after trying the game out i really enjoyed its premise both in story graphics, some of the dungeon designs are pretty uhm Epic not to mention character interaction, all in all to me a whole better offer then a bards tale IV for example which expected all kinds of stuff even leaving me with a challenge i could not understand in the beginning.. bah

also gave Mary Skelter a try which felt really Jrpgy it is to bad that Japan seems to offer the biggest collection of true dungeon crawlers presented with their infamous anime style which does seem to represent the christian style which i'm not very fond of either but really lacks any creativity at the moment to be of true value anymore ( after spending time with anime's and manga from the age of 16 )

I was just looking at this game. The art style really drew me in.

Also, thanks for relating your Operencia experience vs Bard's Tale 4. BT4 was on my list but watching videos I was left cold to the game.

I'm not sure if I would count as a stable organized honest reviewer.... You are talking to someone who, in Might and Magic 7 managed to lure with him a whole army of killer wasps right into this village where everyone started fighting for their lives ... after both villagers and wasps where slayed.. He, me looted everything for gold ... That is the person who i am
