Stephen King's Joyland.
Good read.
In the wake of the plague by Norman F. Cantor. Pretty interesting so far
Just finished Timequake by Kurt Vonnegut. Phenomenal book! Not quite a "story", in the traditional sense. It was more or less Kurt rambling on about things, while occasionally playing with an idea. Still a great novel, though!

I've got For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway waiting for me at home (my first Hemingway; I'm excited!), but seeing as I'm on vacation for another week, won't be able to do that :( And I'll have to have something to read on my plane rides, because my DS dies so often. Suggestions?
Finally finished Starship Troopers...I like the book. Wish the movie was more like the book. Here's hoping another director picks it up and does it justice.
Will start reading "Brent Weeks - The Black Prism" next.
I don't really get to do a lot of reading for myself, it's mostly just bedtime stories with the kids.

But I get to dig out stuff I remember as a kid, so we just finished Bunnicula and have started Howliday Inn.

It's kinda neat, as I haven't read them in a while, and now I get to introduce the kids to the concepts of monster stories (vampires, sort of) and mysteries. Good stuff.
Still reading LOTR, only less than 400 pages left out of a 1000 page book.
Finished reading The Ghost Pirates by William Hope Hodgson. The second time I read the novel, and I still can't understand a fucking 85% of all that seamanlike stuff contained in the book. 3/5, I definitely prefer The House on the Borderland.
Picked up God Bless You, Dr. Kevorkian by Kurt Vonnegut, Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut, The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway, I, Robot by Isaac Asimov, and Naked Lunch by William Burroughs at the local library. Also bought The God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert for 50 cents! Probably won't read them all before the vacation's up, but at least I have something to read on those awful, boring flights...
Things to Come: A Study in Biblical Eschatology - J. Dwight Pentecost
I bought the first four books in A Song of Ice and Fire, and finished A Game of Thrones a couple days ago.
Abaddon's gate by James S.A. Corey. the third book in the Expanse trilogy. About halfway through it and I'm really enjoying it so far
Before starting Brent Weeks - The Prism, I noticed he had a prequel for the Night Angel. It was cheap enough, but it was not a very good read. I think it was 140 Kindle pages which took me an hour or two.
Hopefully, The Prism will instill more faith in Brent Weeks after that prequel....
Finished reading Sunfall by Carolyn J. Cherryh, a collection of short stories about the Cyclopean and ancient cities where the last humans on Earth survive and live under a dying Sun. 3,5/5.
Gold of Arkona from George Cervenak :P
