Finished reading The Witch House by Seabury Quinn, a collection of four short stories (translated in Italian) about the "occult detective" Jules de Grandin first published on Weird Tales in the first decades of the XX century. 3/5, nice stories for someone like me who grew up reading Dylan Dog (the Italian comic series, you should read it).
China: A History by John Keay
Cell, by Stephen King. My neighbor lent it to me, almost done with it. It's pretty good!

After this, I'm gonna read Starship Troopers, by Robert Heinlein.

Thanks! I'm hoping to like it. Isn't he part of the big three? With Asimov and Clarke?

Anyways, you should read the works of Philip K. Dick (if not already). He's a great sci-fi writer :3

Yeah, I would definitely class him with them(though Asimov is my favorite). Is Dick the one that wrote do Androids dream of electric sheep? If so then yeah, he's a great writer as well! I love science fiction :D!

Yeah, he wrote DADOES (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep). I've only recently gotten into sci-fi, and he was my first. I swear, his short story collection...blew me away! I picked up a used copy of Starship Troopers for a buck at a bookstore in San Diego. I've heard its a classic, so I can't wait to read it!

Any more recommendations for me?
The Hobbit with both An Unexpected Journey and There and Back Again in one book.

And I am 9 chapters away from finishing the book and I cannot wait to see when they reached the Lonely Mountain.

hmmmmmmmm, off the top of my head

1. Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey, its part of a trilogy, but they are not all out yet(I think). An amazing space opera that had great character development. This book was wonderful

2. Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov, three books in one collection, awesome story about a mathematicians goal to shorten the chaotic time between the current interplanetary empires fall to the next ones rising. One of my favorites.

3. If you like star wars then anything written by Timothy Zahn is absolutely great.

4. Heinlein writes alot of good stuff, a few others of his I really liked was Citizen of the Galaxy, have space suit--will travel, and tunnel in the sky
Lord of the Rings - One Volume to rule them all.
Just finished the 'Siege of Gondor' Chapter of Return of the King and on to 'The Ride of the Rohirrim'.
I reread the Hobbitt shortly before the movie, watched the movie, and now am rereading the Lord of the Rings, before I rewatch the movies.
Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad

I'm liking it so far but the movie was better.
Just went to the library

picked up Pebble in the Sky by Isaac Asimov, orphans of the Sky by Robert Heinlein, and Earth Unaware by Orson Scott Card and Aaron Johnston.
'To Meet the Real Dragon'

Gudo Nishijima (Author), Jeffrey Bailey (Contributor)
Finished reading The Mind Cage by Alfred Elton Van Vogt, a sci-fi novel from 1957 that shows its age. 3/5, I liked way more The Voyage of the Space Beagle.
Martian Chronicles
