Those two are very good. I loved Sourcery too.

And I must heavily recommend Mort, its just excellent. Also The Wee Free Men, can't forget that one :P

And if you want the same kind of humour in a different setting, I loved Good Omens.

I was thinking of the wrong series anyway - I meant to say 'Eon' and its sequels by Greg Bear (only have the first book of the 'Foundation' series, so it'd be a bit tricky to read all of them :P ).

ack you've missed a couple of books out of the guards series >.<
Theres a long continuing story line in this series within a series which goes something like this.
Guards Guards,
Men at arms,
Feet of Clay,
Jingo,(this ones a little slow)
The Fifth Elephant,
Nightwatch,
Thud.

You also have book 2 (or 3 if you include equal rites) of the witches series which starts with either equal rites or wyrd sisters
Sourcery however is a wizard book and thus fairly stand alone though as it's fairly early and before mustrum ridcully arrives.

He lied theres a few long running story lines in order of appearance..
Rincewind and the wizards (CoM)
Death (He appears in every book so I'll include him here but he really starts after the witches in Mort..)
Granny Weatherwax and the Witches(Equal Rites/Wyrd Sisters)
The Guards (GG)
The History Monks/Lu Tze (Small gods though he's everywhere and pops up in various storylines)
Susan Sto Helit (soul music but her story starts in Mort)
Moist Von Lipwig (Going Postal)
There are stand alone books, Pyramids, Small gods(though can technically be seen as a lu tze book), The Truth (though this involves the guards)

You can read them out of order but you'll find yourself itching to go back to the earlier story books to find out how certain events happend...

::edit:: Theres also a number of childrens books set in DW The Amazing maurice (a retelling of the pied piper of hamlin) and the tiffany aching books(could be seen as part of the witches and guards books)

Well, yes, I am more into history book.

Right now I'm currently reading A Dance with Dragons which is the 5th book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. I'm 150 pages into it and loving it.

I'm also reading Atlas Shrugged off and on and I'm 66 pages into it so far. I got over 1100 pages left.

A Clash of Kings, because of the Game of Thrones TV-series, I'm now reading the books. Very nice fantasy.

I just finished Ciaphas Cain: Defendender of the imperium, now i started Eric one of the discworld novels.

Visions of America, volume 1 and 2 by Keene et. al., Heritage of World Civilizations by Craig et. al., The Infernal Machine by Carr, In Spite of the Gods by Luce, and Palestine: Peace not Apartheid by Jimmy Carter...yes, I'm reading them all right now (it's for my work).
Though I'd love to re-re-re-re-read The Misenchanted Sword by Lawrence Watt-Evans instead

Holy crap, I read that a long time ago and totally forgot about it. Very fun read. I'm now moving onto the second book of Pliocene exile, The Golden Torc.

I'm currently focused on two books, though I have more in various stages of completion.

The first one is 1493 by Charles C. Mann. It explores how the Columbian Exchange (the network of global trade that was set in motion by Columbus coming to the Americas) changed the world and how its effects are still seen today.

The other one is America Walked into a Bar by Christine Sismondo. It explores the role the bar and tavern has played in the history of the US. Quite a fun read actually.

Currently Hyperion by Dan Simmons and re-reading King of the Murgos by David Eddings.

X-Wing: Solo Command

It's the 7th book (of 9) of the X-Wing series. It's he first time I'm reading the series in english and there are a lot of jokes you don't get in the translation.
