Are the three I'm focusing on right now. I also have The Worm Ouroboros by E.R. Eddison, Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, 1421: The Year China Discovered America by Gavin Menzies (it's really close enough to fiction to count), History of the Persian Empire, and Swords and Dark Magic (a sword and sorcery collection). I read a lot of books at once.

I got them digital on my Kindle :P Local library doesn't have them (I asked yesterday when I was looking for them for my mother), and I no longer read in spanish if I can avoid it, I'd rather read the original text than translations.

A Dance with Dragons, the latest in the Song of Ice and fire (Game of thrones) series by George R. R. Martin.

I'm about halfway through, and thoroughly enjoying every page of it.

I'm currently reading The Bourne Identity. I'm over half-way through with it and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Don Quixote. It's a riot.

Second Variety, the second volume of the collected short stories of Philip K Dick

John Ringo's Legacy of the Aldenata series. Bad military sci-fi to start, moving the bad spy sci-fi later on. And yet, I've dragged myself through almost all of it, and have enjoyed it quite a bit.

Other than that, I think I've worked my way through about 90% of the Baen Free Library the last few months... Good fun, but in some cases mentally scarring.

I have finished Mechanicum (Graham McNeill) from the Horus Heresy series about an hour ago and I plan to either continue with the HH series (Tales of heresy), or pick one from Discworld books I have purchased a few days ago.

avoid the colour of magic and light fantastic they are not good intro books... go for guards guards if you got it

Divine Comedy

I just finished "You Know Nothing Of My Work" by Douglas Coupland... a biography of Marshall McLuhan. Then I'm gonna read Coupland's latest novel, "Generation A"

"the girl who played with fire" -- it's not very good, frankly. the first was pretty good, as was the movie. but this... eh, i'd read "dragon tattoo" and move on.

I'd choose either Guards, Guards!, Eric, Small Gods or Mort as an introductory discworld book.
Or if you want one that isn't too tangled up on what could be called the (old) main storylines, get The Wee Free Men.

Last night I started on Howard Zinn's Passionate Declarations: Essays on War and Justice (which apparently was called Declarations of Independence when it was first released in 1990).
