GR00T: So I finshed all of Frank Herbert's
Dune series and decided to jump back to Neal Stephenson's
Baroque Cycle, so I'm now reading
The Confusion.
HereForTheBeer: Tesla: Inventor of the Electrical Age, by W Bernard Carlson
GR00T: How are you liking this one? I've been interested in reading about Tesla, but wanted to make sure I found a good book.
It seems like an academic version of a biography, neither a love letter nor a harsh critique that some biographies turn out to be. And it goes into technical details of electricity, motors, etc. I'm not far into the book but it's decent to this point.
And the Baroque Cycle... whew! Some long reading there, with the typical "I wonder where he's going with this..." stuff that you get from a Neal Stephenson book / series. I liked it.
