Just finished Sunset Song by Lewis Grassic Gibbon. Now moving on to The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark.

Finished reading this Italian edition of Dicken's David Copperfield. 4/5, too much sentimentalism anyway.

Those books are terrible. However, think of them as resident evil fanfic and you might be good to go.

Nothing quite like World War Z when it comes to zombie surival horror fiction.

I read like its a "So bad its good" kind of book.

I read the first 4 way back in 1999. Even then me and my buddies thought they were bad.

Some Shadowrun novels. Got my paws on some, so, i just could not resist. Just finished Robert N. Charette's Secrets of Power trilogy.

How good is Billy Bat? I have read Monster and Pluto, and I'm starting 20th Century Boys.

Im currently reading Chew. Im halfway and I love it, L O V E I T. The plot is great, the humor is great, the action is great, the art is.... well its good

If I would have to rank it I would say it's better than Pluto, on par with Monster and falls a little short of 20th Century Boys. But that's my opinion, of course.^^

If you like Urasawa you can't go wrong with it.

Also I would be curious to know what you think of 20th Century Boys. It's my favorite comic ever.

I first watched the film, part I. I found it so-so, but I felt disappointed. Maybe I was expecting something else. I found it a little bit childish or unserious. But again, I guess it was just due to my expectations. I knew nothing of the story.

After reading Monster, I decided to give 20th Century Boys another shot. I have read only the first volume. The pacing seems better, and it gives the reader more time and detail to flesh out the story better. I have read only the first volume, but I have lended the first to to a friend, and he told me that he was interested in following that story. And so far I intend to complete it.
I do wonder about the 21st Century Boys. Is it good?

What I like about Urusawa: he is a very good story writer, and and excellent illustrator. I think he could make a living on only one of these talents, but having both is amazing! Also, he writes stories that are aimed at more mature readers. If you know of more good comics in this vein, let me know. I have several, but they are not easy to find.
