I highly recommend someone read Lone Wolf amd Cub. Almost showcases exactly what like in Tokugawa era Japan was like.

Im reading The Picture of Dorina Gray and The Ocean at the of the Lane atm. Both fantastic reads.

Also awaiting the sixth book to a A Song of Ice and Fire.

Watchmen and Warhammer Monthly. Warhammer is pretty entertaining stuff and I don't think Watchmen needs any additional hype.

I'm a huge fan of horror and short stories. Currently reading the following:

The Horror in the Museum (HP Lovecraft anthology)
Celtic Myths and Legends (TW Rolleston)
Irish Ghost Stories (Wordsworth)
Horror Stories (Wordsworth)

It seems like a lot, but keep in mind in one reading session I can finish a short story.

I'm currently reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. Dracula, baby! About 1/3 of the way through and I find it an interesting and sometimes compelling read. Well written.

Yes I am referring to the Manga. And I have read all Volumes right until the end. And oh my goodness the ending.

Lets just say a lot of Manly Tears were Shed. Litirally.

Quirkology by Richard wiseman

Anybody have any recommended psychology books like quirkology?

Found a used copy of The Canterbury Tales in pristine condition for about $1.50 at my favorite used bookshop and have always regretted selling it after college, so the situation was rectified and I'm already about a quarter of the way through. Forgot how darn funny and beautiful this book really is, highly recommended.

Still reading A Distant Mirror but have mostly dropped Deadhouse Gates. Sorry Mr.Erickson, just not in the mood to read your magnum opus.

I still have a copy of this book that my grandmother gave me. She had an old edition that was written in its original Middle English. Considering its age I think it is a good and funny book, built up of 20 stories if I remember correctly. $1.50 seems live a very good price for such a classic book, that's one of the great things about visiting used bookshops, you can pickup some wonderful and rare books for a small price.
