Hello!

Halloween is the best holiday of the year, and it is coming up soon. What are you playing to celebrate this season? I'm doing another run of Arkham Knight. I also picked up Blasphemous and Ghostbusters for the Switch. I'm hoping to get around to playing Luigi's Mansion 3.

This is actually something I've done for the last few years - I pick out a nice scary / spooky game to play around Halloween - something worth turning off all the lights, turning the sound up and cracking open a nice dark bourbon barrel aged beer.

Last year I went with Kholat - I don't think I played more than a night or two - I always meant to maybe retry it but just didn't enjoy the short time I had with it. Miasma did the whole "pathfinding" / topographical navigation in a super fun, engaging way - Kholat, not so much. Very pretty, and I was looking forward to experiencing their take on the story but I just never got into it.

My favorate so far to date was the year I played Knock, Knock. I'm not even sure it's a game, but man did it just ooze creepy atmosphere ;)

This year I finally might try SOMA. I had always heard great things about it, but also that it's terribly jarring and disturbing - so I always wussed out on buying it. When GoG gave it away free, I really had no excuse... ;)

So let's hope I don't end up rocking back and forth in my chair this Halloween!

Oh nice reminder. This inspired me to later play Layers of Fear+inheritance in my backlog. Maybe 11th hour with walkthrough.

Nothing specific to the holiday. Around this time of year (not Halloween but just the autumn season, I suppose) I dust off Quake (singleplayer) and go through it.

If Steam Proton wills it, Resident Evil HD Remaster. But since that probably won't happen, I'll most likely play some dark and gritty module for Neverwinter Nights.

I don't celebrate Halloween (not a thing in my country until very recently) so I'll keep playing what I was already playing: Ghost of a Tale, which coincidentally is quite spooky on its own.

Costume Quest of course. :-)

Yup. It's great. Sadly Costume Quest 2 isn't available here.

Gonna play some Resident evil 3 nemises this month and maybe some of 4 not sure yet on that one.
