omega64: So is Costume Quest 2 the only game of theirs we're missing?
avatar
Grargar: Nope. We're also missing Iron Brigade, Hack 'n' Slash and Spacebase DF-9, though how much people would want the last one, that's an entirely different matter.
Oh right, Hack 'n' Slash seemed interesting.
Spacebase DF9 was a disaster.
I might be wrong here but wasn't Iron Brigade originally using GFWL?
I think it was converted to Steamworks fairly recently.

Nope, we're missing that space strategy fiasco one and some other smaller games that came out of their game jams, I think.

This is all we have by them, right now:

Double Fine published games on GOG.

te_lanus: Half Life 3?
Not before 03.03.3333
I can't wait for Samorost 3 from Amanita Design on 23th or 24th. I enjoyed Samorost & Samorost 2 very much (and Machinarium & Botanicula too) so I don't see the time it gets released. The screenshots look tasty!

Ixamyakxim: Bullshit, really!?!?! How dare you get my hopes up - is this confirmed?
Nope and Steam points to a Winter release (not that is reliable though).

And The Cave.

Q1 2016 has been thrown about as the date for a console release, so perhaps that's why some people think so. The Steam thing refers to the previously announced release time frame, though - Winter 2015

Oh, my bad then. Still, i doubt that they would a release in 13 days without announcing it.
Final Fantasy IX!

Fingers crossed!

Matruchus: Banner Saga 2 and Battlezone Redux 98.

In Steam forums the devs said Winter - Q1/2016 which means end of March 2016 if they don't change their schedule again.
Hmm cautiously though not hopefully optimistic. Might start hunting around the intertubes and dev site for a firmer release window...

Well, it's been 10 months ever since the game's rights were acquired by Double Fine and the GFWL replaced with Steamworks.

hyperagathon: And The Cave.
I didn't mention The Cave because I'm not sure if Double Fine really owns the game (it's currently published by Sega).

ScotchMonkey: If you like point and click, then Shardlight is coming out.

Wadjet Eye represent!

DaCostaBR: I do. They don't have much marketing do they? I usually find out about them the moment they hit the store.
I never pre-order. But this has actually tempted me.

Fuck it I'll be patient as always.
Deponia 4 came out on Steam so far, I would like to see a GOG version.
avatar
darthspudius: It is? Where is it coming out?
avatar
groze: According to the official site:

It’s coming to Windows, OSX, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in March 2016!

groze: That's all they say about it, but considering Double Fine seems to be on good terms with GOG (having released Psychonauts, Brütal Legend, Costume Quest, Broken Age, Stacking, Grim Fandango Remastered and Massive Chalice), I have high hopes it'll end up in here as well as Steam and probably some DRM-Free standalone version on the Double Fine store.
Kick ass. I'll be buying that!
Moon Hunters is coming out on the 10th
