Elmofongo: MAN BITES DOG

In which French filmakers makes a mockumentary of following the life of a serial killer and in time participates in the killer's actions.

But in all seriousness:

2. Casino (Martin Scorsese 1995)
Man Bites Dog is a Belgian movie.

Three Colors trilogy: , [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111507/?ref_=tt_rec_tti]White, Red. Some of the best movies, I though I'll put it here because otherwise no one else would.

Barry_Woodward: Only one film per post. Follow this template #. Title (Director, Year), link to the film's IMDB page and include a trailer, if possible.

1. Blow Out (Brian De Palma, 1981)

You know that's a (lazy) Hollywood remake of Antonioni's Blowup, right? I didn't like either film much, but at least Antonioni's was original (based on a Julio Cortazar's short story) and 'artsy'... it's a very intriguing film, with no dialogue and beautiful shots while De Palma's version is just your run-of-the-mill Hollywood thriller.
20. Three Colors: Blue (Krzysztof Kieslowski, 1993)
21. Three Colors: Red (Krzysztof Kieslowski, 1994)
22. Three Colors: White (Krzysztof Kieslowski, 1994)
23. Blow-Up (Michelangelo Antonioni, 1966)
24. JFK (Oliver Stone, 1991)

That would be missing the point, the point of these threads isn't to establish canon or whatever but to have a casual little get together where people can just throw in whatever they like, it's not about deep discussions or anything.

Who cares about top 250 or whatever on imdb, this isn't a ranking here just throwing stuff out there :)

29. Willow (Ron Howard, 1988)

Barry_Woodward: Don't get too hung up on when a particular film is mentioned and please try to keep your entries to one per post.
I wasn't saying Man Bites Dog is a bad film. It could be a great film.

But I found it too horrible to watch.
31. The Hour of the Pig aka The Advocate (Leslie Megahey, 1993)
