Also noteworthy is GamesIndustry.biz but as the name already implies that website is not about games themselves but about the industry that creates them.

I really like this one. It has a very nice clean blue interface and doesn't get bogged down with a million ads. I think they may do some of their own articles but most seem to aggregate from other sites. Bookmarked! Will have to check it out more a bit later.

I've really missed GameInformer. I got the physical edition until the magazine went fully digital. It was just a big industry ad, but it reminded me of Atari Age and early PC gaming mags I collected as a kid. Anyway...

You might want to look at Edge Magazine. Think it's owned now by GamesRadar. Not sure of the quality of the online edition, but I used to like the physical magazine...

It's all a matter of preference. Even Vice has a gaming section known as 'Waypoint'

Depends what you're looking for really. If you're after industry news, "That Park Place" has some good gaming news, although the site's new editor has refocussed slightly back towards the original core reporting on theme parks. Geeks and Gamers is also worth a look.

If you want reviews, I'd avoid the gaming press and just use youtube. Critical Drinker/Gamer is always worth a watch.
