DalekSec: The more information links not show any KB, only goes to the FAQ about the upgrade to W10, but if you take a look in the right pane, you see that is says "Update to Windows 10 Pro - installs the next version of Windows"
The bad here is that is selected by default, so in order to avoid the upgrade, I need to deselect it before installing the other updates.
I don't know why, but that optional(?) opt-out Windows 10 upgrade has now disappeared (which is good).
I still have that Windows 10 icon in the taskbar, and also occasionally I get a dialog box insisting me to upgrade to Windows 10 because everyone else and their dog updated too already, but now when I tell Windows 7 to check for new updates, it doesn't list the Windows 10 update at all anymore. For instance, right now I have only one pending Windows 7 update, an optional (opt-in) KB3095649.
And yeah, I still seem to be using Windows 7, so it isn't like it silently updated to Win10 without asking me. :)
Maybe MS recalled that update after getting angry messages from people who don't want to upgrade, or something...
