Bookwyrm627: He was smarter than the rest of us, and did it right the first time.
The RIP part in your current (previous?) avatar is pretty fitting.

JMich: Yes. The blues will become immune to forum bugs, while the rest of us will keep our current non-immune status :P

Grargar: Says he who never changes his avatar.
Lies, this is my second avatar. The first was this one.
Edit: It lasted a whole 6 months, according to this.

It was an avatar or two ago. And yes, it is.

tinyE: I really don't want to see Bradley's new avatar.
I'm sure there's a better solution to your problem than bugging avatar changes for all users.

Hmmm..., sounds like those affected should apply for a job at GOG then.

Cyraxpt: Either the world is lacking Web technicians or Gog needs to improve their offering to those people, no? I mean, how long has been people complaining about the current state of the forum?

And while we're on it, what about the current/previous web team? Granted, i lack the knowledge about web stuff but when there's forum members creating scripts with features that were asked by the community while gog (web team) doesn't do a damn thing it makes me wonder what are they currently doing.

Oh, besides fixing anything related with money/payment, i know that when it comes to that they suddently become active.
Answer.

Now that I think if it, setting off all that dynamite to get that mosquito did seem a bit extreme.

Exactly! Blame Kazuya for giving me a rough picture before the finished one.

Ban TinyE again? You're evil, man. Real evil.
As much as I would love to do this job, I sadly don`t meet the requirements. my english is not excellent and I never was on 4chan. :-D

There is no kill like overkill.

Gilozard: Speaking as a web dev and former consultant, probably one of these happened:
1 is the correct answer.

It doesn't seem like GOG is offering enough compensation. I mean, Poland might be awesome to visit but just moving in the US is a freakish nightmare and I don't even want to think about moving to Poland. I might be interested, but changing continents with a pet? That's an epic challenge. I know that developers are in demand in eastern Europe so perhaps the local market is so hot GOG can't attract anyone local either.
Wasn't gog making an headquarters in the US? What happened to that?

avatar
HypersomniacLive: Answer.
I'm well aware but my point was, if there's people doing FREE work with scripts why can't the gog web team do... something while being paid? I mean, i've asked for them to remove the system that doesn't allow low rep users to post links (due to spam bots) and still nothing.

Same here. First time I heard about 4chan was during the Fappening in 2014. I can't imagine there is a gaming community on this site : P

I don't think it's about gog staff visiting that shithole, it's about the "community specialist" being used to that enviroment since that is what gog forums are becoming, a shithole filled with trolls, racists, homophobes and so on.

Uhm...

Now that i think of it, at least 4chan has moderation...
I'd love to help out but I think I'm too emotional/pissy on the forums sometimes. Obviously that would change if I were actually representing GOG as a job, but it's not like one's reputation can change on a dime.

Quick question: who is this 4chan? Is he related to the goo gal?

Here are the other work opportunities, to share again: https://www.gog.com/work#/gog_mentality
