Ooh, I like the idea of having a dedicated political thread (maybe even kind of secret [as in not as easily accessible as having on the front page] if you care about the image). I'd prefer this over nothing at all.

Also, I noticed the Orlando thread already got locked without notification from the mod and as this topic is about community management, I thought it would be a good time to reveal my private message to Konrad when he appeared on the forum as the Orlando thread is the kind of topic that will reappear. So I made a few suggestions in my message and would be curious "what would the community think" (damn, it's a Cat Power album ^o^) as it's the time and place to get our destiny back and not let the GOGcracy rules uniliteraly our future life. Revolution! (or not) :o)
You won't get an answer. I've asked twice what exactly GOG have in mind for the forum and community. Heck if they even have a tiny idea what to do with this. No answer. It seems GOG simply doesn't even have a social media plan. Maybe a small clue here and there but nothing else.
The community and social media was what helped make GOG grow and to see something that was one of GOGs greatest strengths simply being ignored and almost shat at for so long frankly gets me in a bad mood for GOG.

Still I'm hoping this move from GOG is a big step in the right direction so regarding this "issue" I'm going to afford myself of being hopeful one last time.

Another example where GOG can't be arsed to fix a small problem that stares every user in the face all the freaking time. Yeah that's great PR. Yes it's utter impossible to get rid of some of those notifications.

I'm pretty sure that GOG has no problem with political topics as long as they stay civil. Unfortunately that's never the case. Normally it takes less than 25 posts before there are insults, racist or sexist comments or even death threats. Even a blind man could see why the threads are being closed. In most cases I even wonder why they stay open for such a long time.

You can change the file extension to jpg to attach it, but keep in mind the file must be under 500KB.
