Actually, to get rid of the pests that are infecting this forum, you don't need a Community Specialist, you need an exterminator XD

I'm well aware but my point was, if there's people doing FREE work with scripts why can't the gog web team do... something while being paid? I mean, i've asked for them to remove the system that doesn't allow low rep users to post links (due to spam bots) and still nothing.
Because it's not worth their time and effort as things are, or at least as they were.

I understand that the "X rep required to post links" system is an inconvenience for low rep users, but since it was put in place due to spam bots, they have no reason to remove it from their POV, and that's making a quick and cost-efficient "patch" to deal with the situation without messing with the current forum software. GOG's a business, and if they see an increase in the use of the forum by their userbase as they grow, they will re-evaluate things and do something about it that goes beyond quickly "patching" things.
