Buchanan is good, I was actually considering to buy two books from him recently, but he's too America-oriented for me I think. Next up is Evola & Heidegger.

You're a troll and you are making it too obvious. Next time you try to get a rise out of someone in here you need to be a little more subtle because right now you are just being really silly. XD

Implying that ideologies are wrong per se.

I bet you and tinyE are also already prepping both your anuses and your wives for the incoming millions of *cough* "Syrian" "refugees".

"Zinn was born to a Jewish immigrant family in Brooklyn on August 24, 1922."

Exactly the type of guy I wanna read for American history, and also the type which is known to be ideology-free. Yep, yep.

"FBI files
Because of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, on July 30, 2010, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released a file with 423 pages of information on Howard Zinn’s life and activities. During the height of McCarthyism in 1949, the FBI first opened a domestic security investigation on Zinn (FBI File # 100-360217), based on Zinn’s activities in what the agency considered to be communist front groups, such as the American Labor Party,[66] and informant reports that Zinn was an active member of the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA)."

"Zinn described himself as 'something of an anarchist, something of a socialist. Maybe a democratic socialist'"

Socialism is not bad. It just depends on individual to bend just about anything into excessive/extremist path.

In the so-called capitalist Europe just a hundred years ago, the baron had the exclusive right for sex with wife of peasant after marriage, as well as with their children (at any time). Equal rights for females, equal rights to citizens, good free education and free base health care - were all invented by socialism or its sympathizers. And Washington was a slaver.

And here I am, aggreeing with a Russian on politics. I always hoped this day would come.

I didn't want to kick off a debate on whether socialism is inherently good or bad you clowns, just refute the ridiculous claim that this guy is ideology-free in any way, which he obviously isn't at all.

Also, as you can see, he was rather a communist in disguise anyway, as are many.

However communism is flawed economically-wise in private sector, its safe to assume that companies, which service the civil sector are driven by profit.

Yet in communism or socialism, there is no difference how hard the inventor tries - he'll be ripped of by the state and receive the same payment. Which is why small to medium companies never took off in USSR - the slogan goes as "you can reap(ref to sickle), you can forge(ref to hammer) - eitherway 'male sex organ' is your reward****" ; ) Which is why I personally prefer capitalism.

This is because, every human being on this planet basically same. He/she wants that his/hers family is healthy, has education and has some perspective for development and is as little restricted by outside force as possible. When something like this does not happen, its pretty easy to advertize on this in order to get to power.

Yet about just every time someone uses this as an advertisement / excuse for revolution, every damn time all these people who support it with hope for the better - get scammed. Basically, only elites change. USSR itself was actually also a big scale scam. Capitalism, socialism or even feudalism - are all forms of control.

It really depends on the elites to determine what comes out - every system can be manipulated or turn into pretty gruesome thing.

**** lyrics and translation:
http://songspro.ru/10/Krasnaya-Plesen/tekst-pesni-Sleva-molot-sprava-serp

But the translation is not very accurate, as its
"you can reap or you can forge - eitherway you get the... (hockey) puck, puck, la la la la"
instead of
" You want this and you want to strike while the washer"
