Early reviews: Best one since the 1st one.

I find that hard to believe in light of the fact that the 2nd one was the best one, but I'm not going to create too much of a fuss about that. :P

Lol saw yesterday Star Wars joghurt at a local super market here in germany, beside all the other crap that is being sold.
I am more than ever convinced, that SW7 is nothing more than a big merchandise commercial for Disney, with an expected revenue stream of 18 billion USD
And even more than the episodes I-III, it will be awkwardly streamlined and watered down to appeal to the broadest audience possible.
And still there is somewhere a tiny spot in me that hopes the movie will be at least halfway decent. And I don`t want to break that illusion by watching the movie.

Seriously though, Phantom Menace was actually very well received at first, so I don't much care for whatever the reviews will say. Since I was one of the few people sane enough to see that crap for what it was from the start, I'll be the judge.

Maybe in Poland. :P Here it was trashed from day 1. Of course I loved it but that's me.

I was pretty amazed when I first saw the trailer of new Star Wars a long time ago, then reality kicked in and I saw a big ugly marketing campaign emerge that shouted loud and clearly "This movie is probably shit, but it was so expensive, that we desperately need as much money back in the first week as possible before anyone makes his mind up about the movie itself!".

Since then, I'm trying to keep my hopes as low as possible in order to not be disappointed at all.
Yeah, I'm probably a grumpy old man, that's how I roll.

saw it last night because my uncle works for disney. han and leah get naked and its basically a geriatric porno throughought even the light sabers have a phallic presentation this time around.
