CarrionCrow: Out of curiosity, what are you hoping shows up before it's all said and done?
avatar
JMich: My paycheck.
<familyfeudgoodanswergoodanswer.gif>
avatar
Konrad: It's the former. New ones are added every six hours, and nothing will go away.
avatar
Tyrrhia: Thank you!

I was afraid I would have to carefully plan my sleeping schedule to be awake during every hour range. :P
This is one time I wouldn't mind another "no sleep" sale. I've come down with a nasty condition called adhesive capsulitis and haven't slept more than two hours at a time since Christmas.

But normally, this is a much preferable sale design, thanks GOG!
A bundle sale. Hooraaaaaaayyyaaaawn.

Vythonaut: After the last Insomnia Sale craziness, a more relaxed sale is what was needed - let's see what GOG will put on offer!
Well, I'm glad at least some people found the Sleepy Sheep sale exciting -- I thought it was a snoozefest (ironically), and stopped following it halfway through. :)
Why the frag do i see euro pricing, when my setting is on the US dollar?!
avatar
CarrionCrow: -laughs- Kinda figured as much on that. Are you hoping for particular games?
avatar
JMich: Nothing in particular, will probably assign a ceiling to spend, then see what I can get for that price. Considering I still haven't touched most of the games I got from Insomnia, I'm not in that much of a hurry to get anything specific, just looking to grow my collection a bit.
same here ...

problem is since 3d/fpp and all that moves like 3d with zooming and all that 'cool'stuff are a nono for me
same goes for actiongames with all the flashes and exposions, and also platformers are a no (I only have unepic)
so i be hoping on adventures, problem is i have almost all adventures

Good thing is there are dozens and dozens of good new point/click games released lately (google for them)
and also ten dozens or more of old click and point just waiting to be discovered and be 'repaired' to work on nowadays machines again.(google for them)

funny thing when reading the introtext: (i have them all)

' Liked the games mentioned in the article? You may be interested in:'
The Secret of Monkey Island™: Special Edition
50%
2009Adventure
owned

Day of the Tentacle Remastered
2016Adventure
owned

Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™
49%
1992Adventure
owned

As far as the upcoming list and coming soon lists: i bought kathys rain, thats about it rest is out of my 'playable games'
so i guess i will save some cash (again)....

but i am still hoping the classics (which i mentioned dozens times before in some topics) will arrive here some day
hopefully while i am still 'sane' of mind that is, cause if it arrives when i 'lost my marbles' (of old age (can happen sometimes), i wont be able to enjoy the games :D

same here... as far as i can remember i had little to nothing out of it, wait...
i had 3 games :D cant remember the names but i had at least 3 so thats a good thing.

Anyway i like point and click, more of the same so to speak, i have lots of them and they can cover me with a shipload of these :D (classic ones, no 3d, no zooming/turning or otehr shitty stuff, just the simple walk left walk right, and then voila next screen:D

timmy010: Dear GOG,

edit - what happens if you own some games already? do you have to rebuy them for the big discounts to be applied?
avatar
mecharma: Dear Timmy,

3. these are completion bundles -- so your previous purchases will count towards the higher discounts :)
Don't see owned games increasing the discount on the Nightmare Avenue bundle. If owned games are selected they also increase the price; which probably means they'll be bought as gifts. If they are not selected then, for example, if I own a couple games and I select a couple unowned ones they stay at 60% discount and don't reach 80%. Am I doing something wrong?

I ignored that pile of steaming turds from the start, a single game every Whatever, screw that.
Awful means of having a sale, for Uplays sake GOG, stop with the marketing crap, whatever the Origin, you're not Steam.

Neither am I impressed with these discounts tied to buying entire bundles, I clicked on a single game and the price doubled, three of the bundled games are required to get the price shown. WTF

Just tell me the price of each game, and how long it will be sold at that price.
Bundles if they exist at all, should be for franchises and Games with Separated DLC.

The only game I wanted was Outlast, but only with the Wistleblower DLC.
Doubling the shown price and no DLC, meant, no sale here.

I'm not a buyer who waits for sales, I made a personal commitment, at the start of this year (on February 5th after getting XCOM 2, don't do the new year resolution bull).
That was to get all the Store client exclusives, the moment I saw them on GOG.
Today Vampire - The Masquerade - Bloodlines appeared in my library.

Some of the non exclusives, predate this year, like Outlast (but not DLC), which I also will get.
Adding the DLC, would have got my money.

It's not hard, to do sales right, all it takes is three things

Game at Price until Date

For franchise bundles this gets slighly more invoved, but it's still not Rocket science

(Game1 and/or DLC and/or Game2 and/or DLC...) at Extra Discount until Date

Nothing for me so far..I mean - these are great bundles I just already own what I want from them. Let's wait an hour...

You have to select all games that you don't own to get the 80% discount. For me it works fine.

You only should have to select 5 games minus the number of games you already own. For me it works as expected. I own 3 of the games, when I select two other games from the not owned ones I get the 80% discount.

Is it just me, or does that ship on the main graphic for the Bundleopolis Sale's e-mail announcement make you think of Spaceward Ho! :)

Same here. I own 4 games, get 80% off even for a single one of the remaining ones. (Interestingly -- though not unexpectedly, when you think about it -- the ones you own don't count for the second time when you buy them as a gift - ie. I get just 60% off of them unless I add at least one thing I don't have.)

I must say I approve of this pricing scheme, because it means I might, say, buy the first Amnesia, play it for a few days, anf if i like it enough, shell out for the sequel before the promo ends, still with the same 80% discount. In other words, it doesn't pay to hoard purchases as long as you reach the threshold for the bigger discount. I hope a lot of bundles will be BYOBs.
one minute left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok the new bundle is probably regional locked in germany, we have doom + doom 2 + quake at 60% discount. whats the full bundle content and is there a bigger discount outside of germany?

Which titles are included in the Bethesda Shooting Range bundle? I only see the Doom games and Quake: The Offering,
