omega64: It really is proper fucked to use a region locked game as a "secret".

MBiL_248: I don't dare to contradict you in that matter. :)

But our brave Judas, that good old thievious bastard, does its best to comfort the poor discriminated people of Germany with many additional German versions of games without region locks, so I'm mild-mannered at the moment. You do so Judas, don't you? ;)
Hmmmm :P

Maybe whoever made that decision thought, "German customers will never even notice! After all, the store has a German version, with German-language news posts that will make no mention of it, so how will they ever find out they're missing anything? It's not as if any Germans use the site in English, or communicate in the English-language forums, or anything."
Yeah, that was a decision that could've used some second-guessing.

If you explain it this way, it seems to be easily understood ... :p
All in all I liked this sale, especially the format, although, for my taste, the content of the bundles could have been better.

What I do not like is that you cannot anymore complete an order within an hour or so at the original price. That's a bad change.

The only sale they did that for (as far as I know) was the Sleepy Sheep Insomnia Sale, and the only reason they allowed it there is that the limited quantities were so low for most titles that they could be gone in 5 or ten minutes. (In other words, it was an anomaly, not how they normally conduct all sales.) In this sale, you had days of unchanging deals. If you knowingly waited until the last hour (or less) of the sale to do your shopping, it's kinda your fault if you missed some stuff. :)
I enjoyed the sale and reading the comments here. I wasn't as chatty as usual as work has been crushing me lately, but I enjoyed the off-hours reads like now. I picked up a few games but am certainly awaiting some others that didn't show up. Maybe when weekend promos come back or the summer sale. :)

I've discovered that behavior during the last Insomnia sale and assumed it always had been that way. I did not know that it has been special for that promo. Then it's something different. :)

The games I really wanted I've already purchased during the promo. But I had a few last minute ideas and wanted to avoid that GOGs fraud detection system blocks my credit card again as they did with the Descent gift codes. Obviously this time it failed too. ;)
