IronArcturus: Is that American Conquest game any good?
Basically, what Matruchus said. I recommend it too! It's been years since i last played it (i own the retail version) but i still remember the epic battles that took place on my screen. I think i should revisit it sometime soon... ;)

EasyGamer: Hello GoG,

Can you tell me if you'll add more bundles and/or deals until almost the end of this sale? Or, is Dying Light the last one?

Thank you.
Dying Light is the last one.

mrkgnao: Dying Light is the last one.
If only I knew that all of its DLC had been released, with no new ones possibly in the cards, then I would find it a tempting offer.

But I'm patient, so I'll keep an eye on it. By the time all the potential DLC's are out, a better sale is likely as well... :)
Has anyone played Sword of the Stars: Complete?
I already have various 4x, is this worth to adding or is it skippable?
That UI, tho..

And Aquaria?

I have several lifetimes worth of games in my GOG library. I tried to resist the Bundleopolis Sale. I really did.

I now have several lifetimes worth of games in my GOG library + 20 additional.

Thanks GOG. No really, thanks for the wonderful sale.

HypersomniacLive: Not sure I follow your "won't consider a game sold without its DLCs" stance. Would you consider the games if their DLC were also part of the bundles, or you'll only consider them when the DLC becomes part of the game itself?
avatar
mrkgnao: I mean that I believe the DLCs should be part of the bundle.

The bundle should be designed so that buying the DLCs is not required to get the bundle discount, but the DLCs get the same discount as the game, if you want them. You know, "optional".
It would also be nice to be able to choose which version of a game to buy when there are one or more special editions.

And Aquaria?
Sword of the Stars is a fantasic 4x game! It's similar to GalCiv2, but the player can have direct control over the 3D battles. It has a Skirmish mode as well, which is always nice.

I've played the Humble version of Aquaria a couple years ago and it was pretty good. It's like an underwater Metroid. I haven't played the GOG version though, so I'm not sure if any new patches have been made. I've read there's some kind of new engine for Aquaria, but I haven't tried it out.

Thanks! +1

EDIT: adding games singularly to the cart doesn't seem to apply the discounts, unlike past promos O_o
Tomorrow I'll check the bundles.

WTF, Gog!?...I was JUST thinking that "wouldn't it be cool if gog had dying light on sale?" (Since I was already in the process of de-steaming my VTMB title) And no sooner than my browser opened, when BAM!

Get out of my head for fuck sake already! q^:

EDIT: Yet another game goes into my de-steamed pile! >:^)

Just out of curiosity, how many more do you have left to go in this "de-steamed pile"?

The timer on the top, that used to show, how much is left until the next bundle is gone, so ... yeah, that is it. Finish.

159 steam 28 de-steamed, 97 out of 113 steam titles to go, vs my 338 gog titles...

Sorry if this has been answered already. I tried to follow the link for Dying Light in this update text twice now - once yesterday and just now - and both times I was lead to GoG's catalogue overview instead of a game card. Is there something I don't get here?
I found something odd! Possibly related to the big secret!

If you go to any bundle page, there will be a countdown, telling how much time remains until the offer expires. There is also a countdown on the main page, with the mention "ʟᴀsᴛ ᴄʜᴀɴᴄᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴠɪsɪᴛ ɢᴀᴛᴇs ᴄʟᴏsɪɴɢ ɪɴ" but I don't know what this could refer to; however, that one's got one more hour.

So perhaps there is something coming the last hour of the sale, "before the city lights go out," because as of now, the lights are only still dying.

(Or maybe it's to avoid problems with purchases at the last time, like completing an order and realising that the price just changed?)

The game is not available for sale in Germany. You can apparently still trade and redeem it, though.
