Maybe it is a transparent surprise.

So one who buys this bundle gets the 3rd game for free when it`s released on GoG?
Need a copy of "System Shock 2"? Well here's your chance! Just fill in the missing consonant in the code below:

NALS4A99F570B778E

your choices are: V, C, F, Z

Enoy!

Has GOG changed the structure of gift codes again? Or is this just for free bonus games?

Last I checked, codes were:
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

Where characters were all hexadecimal, excluding zero.

Falkenherz: I’m contemplating buying the Anno pack, but I have a question: Since I hate to build something and then have it destroyed by enemies, how much combat is in these three games and can you adjust difficulty or even turn combat off? Thanks for any answer.
avatar
trentonlf: Combat is really not the main focus of the games. You will fight pirates in ships or maybe a rival, but very rarely is there land based combat unless you initiate it yourself or the game is out of hand. The games are more focused on your settlements and growing them thankfully as I am not a fan of losing my buildings in combat either.

I also recommend the games if you are a fan of city builders/business sim.
Thanks a lot. I bought them and will give them a try. And especially for this price I won’t feel too sorry if I should end up not liking them.

No, I was just joking. ;) But to be honest, that would be a real surprise.

It's just the bonus codes with expiration dates. I think the Witcher 2 codes from last year were structured the same.

Regular gift codes still consist of 25 characters, with combinations of both digits and letters.

EDIT: 20 characters, because I can't count.

I think that the hyphens have never been required, the system seems to consider a code like 12345-12345-12345-12345 and another one like 12345123451234512345 as if they were the same.

NuffCatnip: Me too, I want to buy the "Knights of the Old Republic" games.
avatar
mazewaliztli: Actually I want the jedi knight games and battlefront 2, you know the real battlefront and not that crap of EA
Yeah, that one is pretty bad.

Edit: Completely misread your comment first, never try to read something while headbanging. >.<

Put more games on your gog wishlist :P
Why are all the Duke Nukem games discounted with the exception of Manhattan Project ?
Is there a known bug in the site code related to basket prices?

I had a couple of games in my basket at the discounted price, but when I went to the checkout the price had suddenly jumped up to the normal full price. Guess the sale expired, fair enough (though a big red warning would be nice to indicate that the price has changed since you added the titles to your basket...) but on the main site, even now, the basket still shows the old subtotal (see attached image). Should this not be updated when opening the basket before going to the checkout?

Cheers.
