Ah yes. Fall. A time of gold and scarlet, overcoats, and increasingly cozy afternoons. A fine time to start stocking up for the winter. A fine time for a gaming sale indeed… So welcome to the Big Fall Sale - 11 days of new daily deals every 12 hours, a new set of bundles every 24 hours and free games to unlock.

Yes, I'm getting spotty "OWNED" tags on the other pages now as well. They seem more likely to appear when the game has a large image, oddly enough. Probably still work in progress.

Either way, you'll get a redeemable code for the game to do whatever with, like sending it to a friend. Just watch out for the expiration date on the codes, it's a month from today.

If you pick up whatever you're missing from the bundle you still get the full discount - so you'll still get 90% off the 3 games, you don't have to buy everything again. :)

JKeift: I'm a complete noob here at GOG and this is my first big sale. I have two questions for anyone kind enough to answer:

1) Should I wait until the last day of the sale in case a discounted game gets an even bigger discount (similar to Steam) or am I safe purchasing now?
2) Do the free-game milestones usually change or are they fixed for the remainder of the sale? That would also condition whether I buy now or later, since I already have some of the current milestones.

Cool stuff. Just a minor bug report: The announcement page says the daily deals change every 12 hours and the bundles change every 24, but both sets of deals have a 24-hour countdown on the home page.

IAmSinistar: I bought all the missing games as gift key and redeemed the five from it I actually wanted. Still saved plenty, and I have another half-dozen to give away. :)
That's a nice plan Sinistar, but I'm trying to stay low, if possible O_o'

So, quick ask for help. I'm looking for the highest resolution and quality of the background picture, to archive here. Best I found so far is the 1920 jpg, is there a better one available?
