Awesome daily deals and bundles up to -90%. Free games to unlock. Fuzzy squirrel on the front page.

Ah yes. Fall. A time of gold and scarlet, overcoats, and increasingly cozy afternoons. A fine time to start stocking up for the winter. A fine time for a gaming sale indeed… So welcome to the Big Fall Sale - 11 days of new daily deals every 12 hours, a new set of bundles every 24 hours and free games to unlock.

The Big Fall Sale goes to eleven. It's one better, isn't it?
Today, the last day of the Big Fall Finale, is also a day of all the remaining daily deals - there's just so many of them. It's the time to grab everything you might be kinda into, and just maybe it'll also score you a free game or two, or three.

As we wind down the deals and pack our bundles, there's just one more thing to say: thanks for joining us in the Big Fall Sale!

While you're here, grab a few extra games for free by doing your thing and shopping around. The more you spend, the more you'll get back, so when your total spendings exceed $5, $15, and $30, you'll unlock a new game for FREE. They're pretty good ones too:
--System Shock 2 - free for everyone who spends at least $5.
--The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - free for everyone who spends at least $15.
--Banished - free for everyone who spends at least $30.

Pet the squirrel, grab your nuts, stock up for winter, and stay cozy out there - the Big Fall Sale is here with 11 days of discounted gaming joy, new deals every day, free games to collect, and plenty of reasons to keep coming back! The sale will last until November 15, 1:59 PM GMT.

Hmm, the eyes in the tree trunk now disappear, and briefly come back if you click on them. That's new, isn't it?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Maybe it'll come out in a few days? :p

Not an exceptional animation but.. I like it XD
I tried clicking on it on day1 but nothing happened.

(btw, that squirrel is somewhat scary)

Guys, you're missing the obvious connection with the tree.

The tree is Harold. The background on the front page looks like a dried up western wasteland. Fallout 3/New Vegas iconography for sure.
Can anyone vouch for the quality of the Ys series? I've never seen such deep discounts on the series before, and I think I'd like to try my hand at playing one or two of the games. However, I'm not sure I can justify the purchase since the bundled price is still pretty high and would eat up most of my budget.

Is it worth buying the whole bundle just to try one of the games? All advice is welcome :)

I have no idea about the remakes. The originals were hard, but rewarding. In the original 1&2 games you just ran at the monsters to hurt them. :p
Hello !

Will there be more Free Games past $30 soon ?
Maybe they could add one for $60 and one last for $100 ?

$30 is not a lot for a 10 days sale, lul :)

I watched some video reviews online. Apparently Ys I&II Chronicles preserve the "bump" mechanic of the old games while the newer Ys entries are more in line with action RPGs like The Legend of Zelda. Maybe I'll just wait a day before deciding whether or not to buy. Bundles stick around for 24 hours, so I guess there's plenty of time right?

Yeah, these should stick around like the others. 20 bucks for the whole series isn't bad at all, considering their usual pricing, but more than I want to spend at once with 8 days left in the sale.
EDIT: I was venting here, but I don't want to risk my negativity bringing anyone else down. You can't delete posts on this forum, but this is close enough.

Latest should-get Daily Deal - Paper Sorcerer. A very good, and unique, game for only $2.

A pity. For what it's worth, I thought it was a well-written evaluation. +1, anyhow.

Oh, well thank you! Now I kind of wish I had just left it up.

IronArcturus: Is that Cities in Motion game any good? Is it like Transport Tycoon?
I really liked it. It is very satisfying to create lines that ferry the people to their jobs and back. You can create pickup lines that deliver them to the subways and they would pick the fastest route, even if it was a greater distance. All the while ripping em off for loads of money of course. Good business sim.

How is the learning curve? Does it have a difficulty setting and or a tutorial?
