Awesome daily deals and bundles up to -90%. Free games to unlock. Fuzzy squirrel on the front page.

Ah yes. Fall. A time of gold and scarlet, overcoats, and increasingly cozy afternoons. A fine time to start stocking up for the winter. A fine time for a gaming sale indeed… So welcome to the Big Fall Sale - 11 days of new daily deals every 12 hours, a new set of bundles every 24 hours and free games to unlock.

The Big Fall Sale goes to eleven. It's one better, isn't it?
Today, the last day of the Big Fall Finale, is also a day of all the remaining daily deals - there's just so many of them. It's the time to grab everything you might be kinda into, and just maybe it'll also score you a free game or two, or three.

As we wind down the deals and pack our bundles, there's just one more thing to say: thanks for joining us in the Big Fall Sale!

While you're here, grab a few extra games for free by doing your thing and shopping around. The more you spend, the more you'll get back, so when your total spendings exceed $5, $15, and $30, you'll unlock a new game for FREE. They're pretty good ones too:
--System Shock 2 - free for everyone who spends at least $5.
--The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - free for everyone who spends at least $15.
--Banished - free for everyone who spends at least $30.

Pet the squirrel, grab your nuts, stock up for winter, and stay cozy out there - the Big Fall Sale is here with 11 days of discounted gaming joy, new deals every day, free games to collect, and plenty of reasons to keep coming back! The sale will last until November 15, 1:59 PM GMT.

Niggles: Wouldn't be surprised. Always thought they made the wrong decision to go into it.
Yah, it was an experiment. Hopefully not too risky a one for them. But it's a very different market than gaming.

Many of us, myself included, thought that they should have started branching out by selling game soundtracks and ebooks first. Those make much more sense with the current customer base.

budejovice: August 7. But it had been quite a while already...

IAmSinistar: Heard rumours floating that they are getting back out of the biz. Niche titles and some video problems probably scotched it for them.
Certainly wouldn't surprise me. I wish someone, anyone, would just do this already. Or I could just stop complaining and start torrenting again. :)

JMich: Isn't this the usual case with too many cheap purchases in a small amount of time? Possibly a bank block.
P.S. Why 3 transactions instead of just one? Can't you add all the games to your cart and then proceed to checkout?
Because I can't add promo bundles to the cart, I need to go straight to checkout. At least I have no idea how to do that in one step.

Anyway, it's not a bank block on my side, I got response from gog support, it's gog payment provider's fraud screening service block. Strange, as I was doing a lot of cheap purchases during the pinata sale, and there was no problem.

Soundtracks would be cool. And not your soundtracks we get now, stuff like your Resident Evils, Kingdom Hearts, Bayonettas etc.
Yay, sale time :-)

Yes, this is a thing. My debit card is currently blocked by GOG as well. Definitely not blocked by my bank. Support claims they're working on it.

Paypal worked for me at checkout...

That is odd. Tried it both ways, and seems to work just fine. Either add the "Add to cart" button for the bundles in the front page, then move to checkout and remove excess items, or open the bundle page, open the games in a new tab, then add those to cart.
You may consider filing a support ticket as well, but doubt it would be resolved in time for this sale.

P.S. You can also just go to the individual game pages and add them to cart from there, should also work.
I thought the sales items will change every 12 hours? On the front page it`s said that there still 16 hours left.

... or they might just come back big time, like they did in 2010 :)

New sales will appear every 12h and they will last for 24h.

Unfortunately there were never any titles I was interested in. GOG needed to launch with something big. Something like The Guild.
Is that normal that only the Fallout Bundle I bought was counted in the "Earn Free Games" thing? (I just spend +40€ in other games)

So the counters only work for 24 hours and they don't count down the 12 hour sales?
There appears to be an error on the site. Some game that I own are shown on the front page, but not in the way that I own them ...

Syberia 1 + 2

I have the same issue. Nothing new. If for example I add all games in the fallout sale to my basket/checkout and then I try to add any other game, the fallout games will be removed.
Same for any bundle in any sale.
So I have to open each individual store page for each game and then add them that way.
Kind of stupid if you ask me, but...
