Awesome daily deals and bundles up to -90%. Free games to unlock. Fuzzy squirrel on the front page.

Ah yes. Fall. A time of gold and scarlet, overcoats, and increasingly cozy afternoons. A fine time to start stocking up for the winter. A fine time for a gaming sale indeed… So welcome to the Big Fall Sale - 11 days of new daily deals every 12 hours, a new set of bundles every 24 hours and free games to unlock.

The Big Fall Sale goes to eleven. It's one better, isn't it?
Today, the last day of the Big Fall Finale, is also a day of all the remaining daily deals - there's just so many of them. It's the time to grab everything you might be kinda into, and just maybe it'll also score you a free game or two, or three.

As we wind down the deals and pack our bundles, there's just one more thing to say: thanks for joining us in the Big Fall Sale!

While you're here, grab a few extra games for free by doing your thing and shopping around. The more you spend, the more you'll get back, so when your total spendings exceed $5, $15, and $30, you'll unlock a new game for FREE. They're pretty good ones too:
--System Shock 2 - free for everyone who spends at least $5.
--The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - free for everyone who spends at least $15.
--Banished - free for everyone who spends at least $30.

Pet the squirrel, grab your nuts, stock up for winter, and stay cozy out there - the Big Fall Sale is here with 11 days of discounted gaming joy, new deals every day, free games to collect, and plenty of reasons to keep coming back! The sale will last until November 15, 1:59 PM GMT.

arxon: I wonder why is Far Cry and Far Cry 2 marked as last chance? Are they going to be removed from catalog?
avatar
GR00T: No, it means it's your last chance to grab them at a reduced price in the current sale.
I missed that Stasis has the same tag. Seeing it only on Far Cry got me confused
I'm tempted to grab the Prince of Persia bundle, but I'm wondering... could anyone tell me if I would be better off just grabbing the second and third games on Gamecube (already have Sands of Time, and no interest in the fourth one)? I have concerns about how the PC versions would run. Much appreciated.

Strange that the Stasis Deluxe Edition is not labelled "last chance".
Even more strange is that the Deluxe Edition Upgrade(which i was considering) is now not on sale at all anymore.
Any thoughts about Space Rangers HD ? Is it interesting ?
Hello Gentlemen !

May i ask you when do you consider a discount to be pretty good on Gog ? 75 % ? More ? Less ?

I'm just starting to "build" a Gog library, but of course there's so many good games here i can't buy them all in one sale, so for now, i'm limiting my purchases to games i really want a lot + not below 80% discount.

What's your opinion :) ?
Thanks.

I never had any major issues with any of these games on PC, especially with Warrior Within and Two Thrones.
Admittedly, I always thought POP 2008 was complete garbage, but I have the suspicion that "shitty gameplay" isn't a problem exclusive to the PC-port.

I just bought the games myself (have Sands of Time and Warrior Within on the PS2), if you have a controller theyll be just like on a console. You may have to look for a controler emulator though. x360ce should do the trick.

Edit: Before I forget, I havent installed the games on my PC yet, but my cousin had Warrior Within for the PC, which is around 5 years ago, so everything I just said could be nostalgia-induced bull. ^^

I think that depends on what your income is like and/or how interested you are in a game. I don't have regular income so generally I wait until games are less than $3 before pouncing; however, if more Humongous games show up I'll probably buy them at their initial discount price (probably $6 per "volume"), and I plan on getting Postal 2's Paradise Lost at full price.

Thanks for answering :) !
I was just asking for a global answer about when can we consider a discount to be very good, or rare precisely.

I find that 60%, 70% and 75% discounts tend to be the most common, while anything above that seems to be relatively rare, with something like 80% often limited to "complete bundle" deals. It also depends on how recently the game has been released here and which publisher is involved.

This is just my personal impression, so take it with a grain of salt. However, I buy most of my games at 70% or 75% off.

Thanks ! So buying at 80% for games that I don't really know anything about and am just curious about what it is seems a good start :) !
I wanted to make sure i don't buy games at -75/-80% to see them discounted to -90 one month later

You don't have much to worry about; 90% discounts are rare on GOG.

Only 22 individual games have had a 90% or more discount in the past 18 months:

Thanks for the website, very useful :) ! There's even the average playtime necessary and all ! Awesome !
Reminds me that Sam & Max & others telltale games didn't go on sale.
Winter sale maybe !
