Awesome daily deals and bundles up to -90%. Free games to unlock. Fuzzy squirrel on the front page.

Ah yes. Fall. A time of gold and scarlet, overcoats, and increasingly cozy afternoons. A fine time to start stocking up for the winter. A fine time for a gaming sale indeed… So welcome to the Big Fall Sale - 11 days of new daily deals every 12 hours, a new set of bundles every 24 hours and free games to unlock.

The Big Fall Sale goes to eleven. It's one better, isn't it?
Today, the last day of the Big Fall Finale, is also a day of all the remaining daily deals - there's just so many of them. It's the time to grab everything you might be kinda into, and just maybe it'll also score you a free game or two, or three.

As we wind down the deals and pack our bundles, there's just one more thing to say: thanks for joining us in the Big Fall Sale!

While you're here, grab a few extra games for free by doing your thing and shopping around. The more you spend, the more you'll get back, so when your total spendings exceed $5, $15, and $30, you'll unlock a new game for FREE. They're pretty good ones too:
--System Shock 2 - free for everyone who spends at least $5.
--The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - free for everyone who spends at least $15.
--Banished - free for everyone who spends at least $30.

Pet the squirrel, grab your nuts, stock up for winter, and stay cozy out there - the Big Fall Sale is here with 11 days of discounted gaming joy, new deals every day, free games to collect, and plenty of reasons to keep coming back! The sale will last until November 15, 1:59 PM GMT.

Raiden. How hard is it compared to Tyrian and Raptor and how the technical issues with it been fixed?

CarrionCrow: There's only one game that currently has the clock icon on the upper left of its picture that indicates that it's a last chance item. That game is Rayman Origins. The only other game that's had that so far is Assassin's Creed.

eiii: Oh, an icon. I'm on travel at the moment and on rather bad internet connections. I do not even see the game pictures in the "DAILY DEALS" section (although the pictures in other page sections do work). All I get in the game boxes is a text "class=", the game name and the price. So there's probably no chance for me to get the last chance info.

@GOG: Please make this a text info or put these games into a separate tab so that the info is also available on bad internet connections.
It seems to me like a browser problem. Please provide me your browser name and version (you can do it on chat).

Azhdar: What about gameplay? Good rpg?

dtgreene: I played through part of the game (Lords of Xulima), and the game does have a few flaws I would like to point out:

1. Game mechanics encourage ridiculous unfun strategies. Most notably, the skills "Knowledge of Herbs" and "Learning". Knowledge of Herbs increases the amount of herbs you harvest, which would be nice, except that herbs don't respawn, so to get maximum benefit, you need to avoid harvesting herbs early on. Learning gives you more XP (in a game where enemies don't respawn) and hence is generally considered a mandatory skill, leaving fewer skill points for more useful skills. The game would have been better off without those skills.

2. Inverted difficulty curve. The game starts off fairly challenging and gets easier as you progress, which is the opposite of how a game should be. Games should start off easy and get harder as you progress and learn the game better, not the other way around. To make matters worse, the game doesn't let you increase the difficulty mid-game, which would otherwise be a way around the issue.

3. Level up mechanics. Most notably, the fact that you can only increase a skill by 1 at level up (so if you have been neglecting a skill, you can't make up for it later), and the fact that you can only raise skills at level up, even if you have the skill points. This makes level ups, which should be a happy occasion, rather stressful.

4. Food system punishes you for exploration. The game would be better if food were only used up when you rest and not while moving around.
After reading several reviews, I wishlisted it. No plan for buying it from this sale. I may buy it in Christmas/Winter sale. Thanks for the details.
Will GOG repeat bundle sales in the end?

Thanks. :)
Waiting for a couple of Star Wars games as well. ^^
Hmm, they seem to be running late with changing the sale announcement text. We're still stuck in yesterday at the moment. :)
I was able to buy the bullfrog bundle finally after 3rd try because of system load i guess. Took me 40 minutes :) The site was very kind tho saying "please wait while we are...." then 5 mins later it changes "please wait a bit more while we are..." LOL.

Anyways. Good job GOG. You again took my money.
Well, looks like tomorrow will be the start of the bundle repeat finale, along with the games that haven't hit last chance already.
Another day my wallet is safe.
Although.. Ethan: Meteor Hunter is pretty tempting.

I thought Encore Day is 24h only not 3 ^^

Tomorrow will put it at 2 days left. GOG's done two-day finales before.

Also, the clue in the post looks like an indicator.
There really hasn't been that many games with the "last chance" tag attached to them. Given the hint to "stay tuned" for tomorrow, I'm guessing that all of the major bundles (as well as a good portion of the daily deals) will be returning for a grand finale.

I guess that gives me another shot to pick up that Indie Adventure bundle I missed out on :)
