Brace yourself for tons of fun because today we welcome two exciting titles set in the fantastic world of Runeterra in our store:

Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story™ is a fast-paced rhythm runner where every action has an explosive reaction, and no amount of mayhem is too much.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story™ is a turn-based RPG where you sail for the Shadow Isles to uncover the secrets of the deadly Black Mist.

That’s not all! Two more titles will arrive on GOG.COM in the future:

CONV/RGENCE: A League of Legends Story™ is an action platformer game where players will explore the spectacular world of Zaun as Ekko, a young inventor with an ingenious device to manipulate time.

Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story™ is a gorgeous adventure game in which you venture into the idyllic but treacherous world of the Freljord as Nunu, a young boy on a quest to find his lost mother.

I know LoL for its cool art, music, cinematics and the fanart.
About the game itself I.. mostly heard about its playerbase's toxicity.

The new games and series about LoL could be interesting, but.. I'm not a fan of Riot's owner, Tencent. :\

i JUST HAVE TO SAY THIS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM TOO EXCITED READING THIS WHEN I JUST READ THIS.

100% SINGLEPLAYER ONLY League of Legends video games with no multiplayer and no microtransactions?

Yes THANK YOU Riot Forge continue doing this, because I will never play the Free to Play (F2P) League of Legends video games.

The one and only time I played League of Legends was in 2011 when I made a League of Legends account and played for only twenty minutes and have since then forgotten every thing about my League of Legends account.
Yeah I liked RiME! And Song of Nunu looks like a cool ADVENTURE game, there's never enough of good ones.
And, I don't like the looks of it but oh yeah and a new rythm game.

Oh, funnz how I was thinking "we barelz have the bit.trip games and not much else" and this is from that team. Also that game about 70's music is coming, that has a different vibe for a music game - A Musical Story.

Breja: Nunu is the only one that looks kinda nice, but the game's page does really good work at not letting me know anything about the actual game.
I agree here, but I'm giving some trust to the devs as I have enjoyed RiME and I think they might have had the experience and more means to surpass it here. It's lacking the slightest language info so I wonder if it's going to be a story told without words again - which also worked well with Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons for me for example.
I'm one of those people who have never even touched League of Legends and these releases came completely out of the blue for me. But with Airship Syndicate (Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Darksiders: Genesis) and Tequila Works (The Sexy Brutale, Rime) involved, I'm actually getting kinda curious here...

If anyone has started playing any of the two games already released, I'd love to hear their opinion on whether people who know nothing about League of Legends lore can get into them.

mqstout: Supporting these is supporting a company that grossly loves online exclusive play, microtransactions, e-sports, and hostile play environments. Supporting these is supporting Tencent, which has had a outsized and deleterious effect on the industry as a whole. Caution is advised if you have personal principles.

(I'm OK with these games on GOG. I'm just not personally OK with them.)
I have to agree on this.

I'm all for GOG to have more games... but encouraging Riot/Tencent behavior isn't a good thing.
Please bring us more games by Tequila Works!!
Hmm... never would have expected League licensed games to come to GOG. Surprised they'd even allow them to be in a DRM-free form.

Lets just hope that this is the start of something big for Riot Forge.

Like as in them developing and releasing for sale more 100% singleplayer only video games to sell 100% Digital Rights Management (DRM) free on gog.com.
All of these look good to varying degrees, though I probably have no interest in Hextech Mayhem. Will tentatively wishlist them for now, and see how I feel about them later on.

GOG's CDN is owned by TenCent.
Ruined King today *-*, nice.
