It is a collection of 237 cakes that mutates to constantly gain mass. Apparently, you have to eat some of it regularly or it will grow so much that you won't be able to contain it. It could take over the earth within 80 days.
I am not sure if I would like to eat a cake that is part of a big mutating cake mass.

In my first IT job with the Intelligent Networks, I had to deal with SCPs (Service Control Point, as the name suggests) and SMPs (Service Management Point, which should be obvious to anyone from the name).
However, we have moved on from those times, and nowadays the technology is something different. So if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about either SCPs or SMPs, unless you really wanted to set up e.g. some kind of televoting system where your grandparents can use their fixed line phones for voting.
