So, we know the first DLC came out a couple days ago, and everything was fine. Well, yesterday a hotfix patch started to download after I closed the game for the day. But today when I just now started the game to play again I'm greeted by a EULA that was never there before since the game released. If I decline the game automatically closes.
It has a lot of stuff about forced data collection about my device and tracking everything that's stored on it. It even says in the EULA that "The user must connect to the internet in order to use the software". That's unacceptable.
Can someone who has Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous take a look and the EULA and the Owlcat games privacy policy that is incorporated in the EULA?
Can the GOG staff also take a look at this and see if it's breaking any rules that are in place here on GOG in regards to DRM free software?
I also think at the very least that the store page needs to disclose that an EULA must be accepted before the software can be used.
I'm not sure I feel comfortable accepting any EULA from Owlcat games right now. This thing just shows up out of nowhere and this is a Russian developer. I have nothing against them personally, and I'm not going to the extremes of asking for a refund or anything, but I just want my game to work the way it did before.
Please look into this GOG, and if there's something wrong here then please pull this game from the stores or work with Owlcat games to get it fixed.
Thank you.
Edit: I attached an image, but it looks like I can't even make an attachment because of this stupid voting system... Get rid of that crap GOG.
