Up to 80% off Read Only Memories, Tesla Effect, Pilot Brothers and The Samaritan Paradox!

The rugged trenchcoat, the fedora-fetish and the unfaltering nihilistic view on life are dead giveaways. But the real mark of all True Detectives is the dogged, borderline obsessive, oftentimes self-destructive drive to unearth the most uncomfortable truths against all odds. It is why we choose to celebrate these unlikely heroes in our Weekly Staff Picks: True Detectives, that feature four (almost five) secret-smashers at their best.

He has interfered with the execution of The Pandora Directive and stood in the way of the Overseer's vision. Now, legendary P.I. Tex Murphy, the oddly charming master of blind luck, must contain the Tesla Effect and try to rummage through 7 years of amnesia. Follow his post-apocalyptic misadventures in this unique mix of live-action video and free 3D movement that helped the loveable gumshoe achieve his enviable cult status.

In the year 2064 fully-autonomous, sapient machine assistants are as commonplace as the smartphone presently pressed against your pocket. You're an investigative journalist with something of a technophobic tendency, but that can't last long in a modern world - can it?
Inspired by Hideo Kojima's Snatcher, Read Only Memories is a point and click adventure across anime pixel-art straight from the 80's.

It's time we talked about the elephant in the room. Hey, wait a second. We need to find it first! Sensible Brother Chief and Brother Colleague, the Pilot Brothers, are definitely the right men for the job. But you might want to tag along, just in case they run into any trouble involving hilarious point 'n' click puzzles and tricky mini-games like the ones you normally find while roaming a cartoony, post-soviet world, searching for an elusive pachyderm.

Take out those notepads and be sure to write down that The Samaritan Paradox has also been spotted on the scene. But it will only qualify as a crime if you don't take advantage of our Weekly Staff Picks: True Detectives, going for up to 80% off. The promo will last until January 07, 10:59 AM GMT.
Good promo .
This promo...! Varied, totally different gaming experiences, nice prices.
What a way to start 2016! ;)

Be sure to grab some Samaritan Paradox, a great adventure and also check on Pilot Brothers, willya?
More people should check out Read-Only Memories, especially at that price.
Don't own anything from this one, don't want to either .
I cannot stress enough how ridiculous it would be for any adventure fan to miss Samaritan Paradox, especially at this price. It is one of the best adventure games I have ever played (and to say I have played many would be an understatement).

I also highly recommend Tesla Effect, it's nothing short of great.
Maybe they can get some detectives to help sort out their botched release of Nuclear Throne from last week.
mmm, a bit of bad timing since the only title I was missing (Read Only Memories) was in a humble bundle last week (which I bought of course....)
45% off Read Only Memories? Instabuy.
Hello, Tex Murphy.
I can also recommended Samaritan Paradox. And for that price? Go for it.

Not to mention you could get the full game (plus a whole bunch of others) at a lower price than the price of the friggin' DLC pack in this promo...
Somehow I can't get into the art style of Read Only Memories. Don't know what it is, since pixel art is usually totally fine with me, but in this case it's preventing me from buying this game.
While I'm not the biggest point & click fan, I can't miss what so many people recommend (thanks!) here. I'll make sure I'll buy a copy or two of Samaritan Paradox later to add it in my adventure backlog. :)
