The promo will last until September 23, 9:59 AM UTC.
Why isn't Don't Starve: Shipwrecked on sale ? Or the two Sea Dogs .
I already have the games I want in this sale, wallet safe.

BispoSnake: Nice! Now, question... Would that be "aye" or "arr"?

Another question: my profile is set as ptBR and BRL currency. It's displaying everything in enUS and prices in dollars... Would that be a bugey, matey, or would that be a problem in my ship?

ARRR

EDIT: Nevermind, it worked without problems after a few minutes later. Hope I enjoy Patrician 123, PortRoyale 12 and Corsairs Gold the way they deserve.

AHOY :)
If your currency problem recurs, log out, clear your cookies for gog.com (or at least the gog-lc one), then log back in. Set your currency correctly if needed. If the problem recurs for you, report it to GOG support and tell them that Skeletonbow file a support issue for this problem in Canada in late 2015/early 2016 for Canada, prior to Canadian currency being available where his cookie would randomly change from CA_USD_en to USD_USD_en and he went nuts about it even though he was apparently the only customer to have reported it until eventually they seemed to fix the problem finally one day.

I haven't noticed the problem happening again for 6-8 months or more though here in Canada. I did however do enough troubleshooting on it at the time to confirm that it was indeed not a local PEBCAK, issue, not a web browser issue (all browsers including Galaxy), not a browser addon issue (Galaxy doesn't have addons), not a firewall or antivirus issue (all computers whether they were using a firewall or antivirus), not a local connection issue (multiple ISPs), and not a user specific issue (2 friends in separate cities in Canada on different ISPs were able to reproduce it). Despite all of that, I was apparently the only one able to reproduce the issue and also recognize that it was an issue (an obscure one, but one nonetheless).

If need be, I can dig up the bug reports/emails and details if it is useful if the problems persist.

Thanks mate. It happened in my Android device, and after a few minutes it worked out of the blue, it could be indeed related to browser cookies, who knows. Double checked my configurations and profile and they were fine, if it happens again I'll raise a ticket and mention your problem as well.

More intriguing question is: Do they have pirates in Canada?

Ghorpm: Patrician III is one of the best trading sim I have ever played. Even though is slightly less piraty than an average game in this promo I can wholeheartedly recommend it
I second that -- Patrician III is one of the first games I bought when I joined GOG. I was lured by the incredible graphics I saw in the screenshots and when I started the game, I was astonished by how much detailed the game really is.

• Is it complex? Yes, it is. Any good economical sim should be complex enough.
• Is it easy to learn? While it has a somewhat big learning curve, i'd say yep, thanks to the great in-game tutorial plus the well written and nicely illustrated manual. The UI is nicely done.
• Is it challenging? You bet it is, but don't be afraid as there are five difficulty options, ranging from very easy to very hard.
• Is it addicting? Ahhh, yes. It can be a good thing or a bad thing. You choose... ;)

For those that suck at real time games, know that PIII can be a very slow game and you can actually pause the game and still issue orders. ;)

All in all, I had a great gaming experience and it was well worth the money for me. Highly recommended!

llamas: It seems weird there is no Monkey Island games in this promo but maybe there is a restriction on how LucasArts games are allowed to be discounted.

Painted_Doll: You will find them on sale today on Steam .
They don't appear on sale for me, but I already have them anyway,

Also, a very appropriate addition today would be Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet!
Songs o' salty sea dogs, eh? How about The Captain's Wife's Lament.

This is the studio version of it. There are also about 200 different videos of live performances of it, but they tend to take more than half an hour each ;-)

ARRRR!!
Arrr! I had me eye on Guild on Dungeoneering for a while, and I had a great time with them landlubbers in the previous two Braveland games... but I have quite the captain's backlog to go through, so I think I'll let these sail past me... this time.

I have for a long time been thinking of getting one of the Tropico games but totally unsure of which one to get. Now I am looking at a single one of them on sale so only need to choose buy/not buy and not pick one out of five... still hard

Talk Like A Pirate Day? This reminds me of when I was a kid. My grandpa ZeoOld used to sit me on his knee and read me stories from the diary of my ancestor, Captain ZeoBeard.

"So there I was, havin' set forth o'er the open sea seekin' adventure, fightin', lasses, swashbucklin', n' loot. We been a small yet mighty crew of a hundred men, lustin' after the precious treasure which lie ahead. Sailin' forth with these scurvy dogs, we flew our puzzly flag of terror out the Pirate Bay, out into the DRM-free waters which lie ahead. We encountered and slew many a galleon of the Royal GabeNavy, liberatin' both their heavily-locked cargo and their limbs, takin' no prisoners.
After venturin' many a moon, swiggin' grog and scrubbin' the lice from our beards, we came across a crew we'd never seen before. 'Twas lead by the mighty Judas Scariot, dubbed for his frightening features and thievin' practices, who sailed under the GOG flag. We ran a shot across the bow, brought a spring upon 'er and prepared to board on the broadside.
On deck 'twas the first mate Konrad, responsible for managin' the on-board activities, yet did naught but leave the chores, particularly the poop-deck-swabbin', to the captain. Ciris 'twas the second mate, a fearsome-lookin' fellow who sat in the crow's nest and yelled orders to the crew. Other fearsome fellows were on board, mainly ragtag mercenaries from across the seven seas, maladr0ld, Firek, Venom, Tomasz, mecharma, and many more, down to the cabin boy, Johny, the jerrybuilder who did most of the work with the captain.
They were a ragtag band of revolutionaries who skirmished frequently with the Royal GabeNavy, bent upon the freedom of the various treasures he'd gained a monopoly over through ensuring that the various smitheries would only sell their things through him to distribute to others n' take back at his greedy will. Bein' pirates, this didn't stop me crew from wantin' to re-liberate whatever lie below deck.
Hoistin' the ropes, we swung across, cutlasses within what was left of our rotten teeth, and boarded the Good Ol' Galleon. The men fought vallianlty on both sides, and soon we had 'em cornered, the fightin' endin' with Judas tied to the mizzenmast. Suddenly, one of me loyal scumbags called out to me, cryin' that we should retreat. Comin' closer to knock some sense into the man, I looked leewards to where he was pointin', and, lo and behold, beneath the deck was a pack of wild men, rantin' and ravin'! We had discovered a ship of fools!
'That be the REST of the crew, which me first mate is supposed to be watchin'', said the captain.
'YOU watch 'em,' the first mate shot back, 'have ye SEEN the likes of what madness lies beneath?! They be rantin' an' ravin' on political issues, tear each other to pieces over which of the loot is shinier, singin' drunkenly in the night, the rats keep nibblin' away at their toes and they somehow found a goat and built themselves a hot tub which stinks to high heaven! I'm not going NEAR there!'
'RUN FOR YER LIVES, YE YELLOW-BELLIED BUFFOONS," I hollered, "BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE AND THEY ESCAPE TO OUR SHIP!'
And with that, we scrambled back, hoisted the mainsail, swigged some grog, and sought a nice, cozy man-o'-war to pillage instead.'

...some days I wonder whether Grandpa ZeoOld was just making that stuff up to mess with me.
