Up to 50% off Prehistorik, Dragon Wars, and Odallus: The Dark Call.

Ah. The good old days. Things were just... better back then, y'know? Not even the big things. The little things were better too. Like the dinosaurs. Precious things. Or the massive clubs and axes we used to carry around with us all the time. Who needs smartphones anyway? Anyway, sometimes it's nice to hop on the nostalgia train straight to TimeMachine City where the the rules don't matter and continuity is iffy. Back to the Olden Times with a Weekly Staff Pick of four titles at 33-50% off.

Odallus: The Dark Call harkens back to the old days in theme and gameplay. It's a title that looks, plays, and feels precisely like the Ghosts’n Goblins, Demon’s Crest and Castlevania era. It was also released in 2015. In Odallus, you'll traverse ancient times of spears, axes, and heroism. A darkness has spread across the world, and you, Haggis, must save your only son.

But Prehistorik times were a simpler times. You had the simple cloths, your basic dinosaurs, and a life of hunting. And so, here you'll traverse the dinosaur-laden lands searching, smashing, and hopping for food to bring back to your starving village. It's a classic platformer that's rightfully earned its place in many young gamers' hearts. For a more immersive experience, try pretending like you've never seen a computer before.

Wasteland, Bard's Tale, Battle Chess, Dragon Wars. A product of its day's greatest game designers, called the ultimate role-playing fantasy. You have arrived at a mythical place where where streets are paved with gold and anything you desire is yours. However, the King has declared magic illegal in this land, you're arrested on the spot. Sentenced to a lifetime in the Purgatory, a disgusting byproduct of the world above, you must... make your history.

History, prehistory, or simple fantasy... things were just better in the Olden Times. You too can go back, with our Weekly Staff Picks at 33-55% off. The promo will last until Thursday, October 22, 3:59 GMT.

thanks
Sweet, Odallus looks cool. Is there any chance to see Oniken on GOG?
I'll probably get Prehistorik 1+2 until the promo is over, I'm currently just trying to convince myself to spend the money for it. I always wanted to play them and the Linux port in combination with QJoypad would make those fun to play for sure.

The amount of secrets in Prehistorik 2 seems to be hilarious even in the first level:

Would you people recommend Dragon Wars even for people that are no fans of dungeon crawler?
"Legend of Grimrock" was nice, but a bit monotonous at times.

Odallus is still to expensive for the graphics imho and needs proper porting.
Concerning Odallus:
Windows: Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 10
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1ghz or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: 256MB VRAM Dedicated Graphics Card
...

Hah hah hah! ... ridiculous.

It's likely just the minimum system they had access to use for testing. The game works perfectly in WINE on a 2010 11.6" MacBook Air (1.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 256 MB Integrated GeForce 320m) on OS X 10.10.5 for me.
