We've all been there. Taken by our primordial urge to complete a collection of beloved items, we either venture to track them down one by one, striking at the most opportune moment, or to keep a secret fund handy so that we can snatch them all in one fell swoop! The Interplay Completionist Week caters to both, putting a nice 60% discount on all individual Interplay games and rewarding completionists with a hefty 90% one. At the same time, four Star Trek games by Interplay are orbiting the sale, going for 80% off when assimilated as a unit.

There are a lot of slimy superheroes out there, but no one comes close to Earthworm Jim, the super-strong, super-agile, super-pink punisher of villainous oddities that can action/platform his way out of any sticky situation.

Modern first-person RPGs would not be the same without Stonekeep, this one-of-a-kind mix of deep role-playing mechanics, intriguing lore, daring visual design, and hardcore sensibilities.

Set your phasers to...Pick Up! Star Trek™: 25th Anniversary invited us to a universe of point'n'click adventures full of tough moral choices, varied outcomes, and interstellar travels that delighted series' fans and non-believers alike.

And thus begins the Interplay Completionist Week! It's the perfect time to complete your collection by making use of the gigantic 90% discount, or to get started on it by picking up some awesome titles like Freespace 2, MDK 1+2, Messiah, or Lionheart for 60% off!
The promo will last until May 29, 9:59 AM UTC.

IAmSinistar: Other than those, if there are remaining Star Trek titles to come then those would be nice too.
One of Interplay's staff members on Steam mentioned that they had plans to release all Star Trek games that Interplay had originally published. Ever since then, a year has passed and it's anybody's guess as to what might be the hold up.
If only it was the amiga version of Dragon Wars.

Thought I had heard something to that effect when the first ST games showed up. Curious indeed.
Just noticed you guys no longer sell Descent 1 and 2, what gives?!

Seems Descent 3 + Mercenary is gone as well, though all are still on my game shelf.

They were removed last December, unfortunately.

The games' owners terminated their contract with Interplay, because Interplay wasn't paying them their royalties. As a result, the games had to be removed from store.

So they where, thanks. Here's the official news thread.
The last time this promo was around (which was exactly one month ago) I bought MDK 1 & 2, and decided I'll wait until Earthworm Jim 1+2 and Messiah (maybe Sacrifice too, but strategy isn't my cup of tea) get 75%+ discount.

I didn't mean I'd buy 30 other games I don't need and won't ever play to get that discount though. So I'll pass again.

At least check the boxes of the games you want so you can see how much they'd cost, though. It's 60% off individual games, 90% off everything you don't own. I wanted 6 games that would have cost $19.14, but by buying everything, I saved a buck and got 20 free games! Yeah...I don't get it either, but there it is.
It´s time to get some copies of Sacrifice... :D :D :D

You won't see 70 or 75% discount on these games ... maybe in some extra sale (winter, summer promo etc.) , but I higly doubt.

I hope also for a bigger discount for the exact same games (+ Kingpin), but that would be a miracle.
Some people would say, you should be happy, that these games get discounted at all ... yeah.

HunchBluntley: I love how so many people complain about developers & publishers who treat their customers like crap, but a publisher who treats the rights-holders of their games like crap (i.e., not paying them any of the owed royalties) apparently gets a pass because they treat their customers fairly well. :?
Thanks for the reminder HunchBluntley. :)

For those who are blissfully unaware of the Interplay debacle concerning Parallax Software's Descent & Descent II, here's the developers explanation of why those games were removed from GOG & Steam:

I know very well how much they cost individually - exactly the same they cost 1 month ago when they were in the same promo with the same 60% discount. And I'm only interested in those 2-3 games, so buying 30 extra games I don't need will cost me double.

Well I'm in no hurry. I've bought 50 games since I joined G OG couple months ago, of which I've been playing like 6.

Since I don't know your browsing or shopping history, no worries; just wanted to make sure you knew there was a point where it might actually be cheaper to buy it all. I, too, was pretty surprised to see the exact same catalog on sale a month later, but didn't check last month to see if the 90% discount applied.

I'm curious as to if there's any significance to the multiple sales; I'd love to see some other Interplay games enter GOG.
