90% off for Interplay completionists, 60% off individual games + 60/80% off four awesome Star Trek titles!

We've all been there. Taken by our primordial urge to complete a collection of beloved items, we either venture to track them down one by one, striking at the most opportune moment, or to keep a secret fund handy so that we can snatch them all in one fell swoop! The Interplay Completionist Week caters to both, putting a nice 60% discount on all individual Interplay games and rewarding completionists with a hefty 90% one. At the same time, four Star Trek games by Interplay are orbiting the sale, going for 80% off when assimilated as a unit.

There are a lot of slimy superheroes out there, but no one comes close to Earthworm Jim, the super-strong, super-agile, super-pink punisher of villainous oddities that can action/platform his way out of any sticky situation.

Modern first-person RPGs would not be the same without Stonekeep, this one-of-a-kind mix of deep role-playing mechanics, intriguing lore, daring visual design, and hardcore sensibilities.

Set your phasers to...Pick Up! Star Trek™: 25th Anniversary invited us to a universe of point'n'click adventures full of tough moral choices, varied outcomes, and interstellar travels that delighted series' fans and non-believers alike.

And thus begins the Interplay Completionist Week! It's the perfect time to complete your collection by making use of the gigantic 90% discount, or to get started on it by picking up some awesome titles like Freespace 2, MDK 1+2, Messiah, or Lionheart for 60% off!
The promo will last until May 29, 9:59 AM UTC.
some piece of gaming history.
Like many here, I already own everything from the promos. Although these prices are crazy. I don't think I got them anywhere near this cheap. Seems Interplay wants everyone to own them so there can be unanimous chanting to bring more titles. Bring more titles. Bring more titles!

Ahem... Seems I got a bit ahead of myself. :)

I have to admit: I don't understand the logic in this, from a business perspective. As of right now, there are 26 games in the Interplay sale I don't own yet. I allot myself $20 to spend, so I select 6 games (that total $19.14) to buy, leaving the rest of my wants to pick up at another time: More money to support GOG in the future. But - wait! If I buy *all 26* games right now, my total is only $18.14 (a full dollar less), and I've just gotten my entire wishlist done, saved money I would have spent in the future, saved a buck off the 6 games I would have bought today, and GOG and the developers get NONE of that money. Can someone explain this to me please? I can understand the customer value of a bonus game or two, but 20? That's...I'm not seeing how that doesn't hurt business.

EDIT to add: Just went back and did the math and, even on sale at 60% off, the rest of my wants would have still generated another $48.63 later on.

EDIT to my EDIT: Also, please GOG, add a "Continue Shopping" feature. There are several sales going on right now, and I want games from three of them, but there's no way to combine them into one purchase. I'm not going to charge my card three times in a row for such small purchases, which means more money in my pocket and less in yours.

My collection here can't be complete without Descent, ya royalty dodgers! >:v

Maybe if I buy some $3 games I can bail them out...
Cheap week, own them all.

Grargar: ...is there any other noteworthy Interplay game we should be expecting?
I'd love to see The Lord of the Rings, Blood & Magic and Heart of Darkness here.
Can't complete my Interplay collection here, because if I do, then I'll never be able to check the Interplay sales again, because I'll already own everything we're ever going to get from them.

Or, put less round about, how about some new Interplay titles?
* laughs *

Interplay sale again ?

It's a bit tedious, but you should be able to add the games to you basket individually and still get the full discount when they are all there.

This would be pretty cool. But
it's probably not owned by them at this point.
