Up to 80% off the entire Tropico series.

We like the games so much, we're bringing back the Big Fall Sale El Presidente Collection for another round - it's 80% off ALL the games (or the ones you're missing) in a single purchase, or 60% off individually.
What, did you think you can get rid of El Presidente that easily?

The just-released Tropico 5 shines like a beacon of awesome and value - it's the best-of, the cumulative improvement of all that made the series so great so far - and it comes complete with GOG Galaxy achievements and multiplayer support.
That's not to say there's nothing for you in the earlier entries - Tropico 3 & 4 each offer a hilarious atmosphere and plenty of unique scenarios to challenge your swiss bank account!
Or, you can take a trip down memory lane with the classic Tropico Reloaded and Tropico 2 - if you appreciate that something precious about classic video game art, sound design, and controls, you'll fall in love (or back in love) with these absolute classics. Some say the series hasn't been the same since... you be the judge.

Save up to 80% off in the El Presidente Collection, extended until Thursday, November 19, 10:59 AM GMT.
When will we get the Tropico 5 DLCs?
So basically this is the Tropico fall sales pack expanded for a couple of days. Well nice to get another chance. It felt kind of short discount time for a new release.

Nice extension, although personally speaking, not interested. Can't complain though, i've bought 5 nice games during the sale to keep me occupied until the next BIG thing, which is the Homeworld release... or No One Lives Forever release... or Bloodlines release... or <insert your wish here> release.. :P

I also wonder what is the plan for the DLCs.

However, the question was ignored on the other thread, so I doubt we will get an answer here.
Nice package, though on the other hand: that is some serious amount of Tropico to play! :D
What I mean is: I played Tropico3 (without the expansion) last summer. I did the campaign and got all achievements, but I won't be coming back to anything Tropico-like for sometime now.
I am very curious how are the other games in the series, but I definitely need a longer break from it. Game is very nice, but also a little bit repetitive in some aspects after a while. (How many times you can build your little island from scratch and not to get bored? )
Great game however, certainly recommended :)

Vythonaut: No One Lives Forever release
Fat chance, Night Dive tried their hands at it and had to give up. IIRC, they were sent a cease & desist by Warners (who own some of the rights) on top of that.

Homeworld is owned by Gearbox and they've gone full Steamtard (on top of being ponzi-scheming liars, frauds and ip vultures).

Where do I find Tropico 2?

popperik: Where do I find Tropico 2?
It's bundled withthe first game.
It's a tempting offer if there's enough content in Tropico 4 to make it worth buying both that and #5. Any thought from someone who's played both?
If at least this extended time would provide a linux release for Tropico 5, but not even that...
How do you think what's better: Tropico 3 Gold or vanilla Tropico 4?

Tropico 4 is basically an upgraded version of Tropico 3 with new events like disasters (Tornados, Draught, Tsunami, etc.) but is kind of unfinished without the dlc. Tropico 3 Gold is essentialy like vanilla Tropico 4 without disasters and new events.
Would love to get Tropico 5, if there was a Linux version.

although it would be nice to have a non drm/copy-protected version that's maybe been updated for newer os's
i'll have to get it out and see if it runs on this 5960x :)

also interested when gog will get the dlc for tropico 5 and most important if it'll be free
